บท 1985: The Internet

"What about the internet? What's with the internet?"

"I'm not sure. It seems that the maintenance staff broke it..."

The other companies on campus were still in darkness. The emergency backup power supply of CXX Research Trading Company was quickly activated. The company's electricity supply was quickly restored but the internet was still unavailable.

Neither the optical fiber internet nor the satellite network connection could be used.

Several security guards at the sentry post were discussing when they saw the black SUV piloting over from afar. They looked up and watched.

The fog tonight was thicker than usual.

"Let's go. Someone's here. Let's go take a look."

Several guards walked out of the sentry post and signaled for the SUV to stop for inspection.
