Day 1.

Last night, shortcakes had successfully sent me the list of students and the jobs that their parents had. And I must admit, their parents had explosive jobs! But there was a downside, there wasn't one of my classmate whose parent worked in that hospital.

Charlotte's dad wasn't some rich CEO surprisingly, he was into food business, he owned a chain of restaurants scattered around the country.

Also, Ella's dad was into selling cars, I guess that line of work really pays the bills and so much more.

This was a major setback, my huge lead had quickly dissolved into nothing, and I still had to pay shortcakes, for absolutely nothing!.

Luca jogged up to me, and ruffled my hair, I smiled weakly at him. Should I just tell the whole school about Luca's abusive home? Would it be that bad? I could make it seem like I was trying to help him out of it?.
