บท 598: The Reason They Went To The West

"Great-Grandpa, eat more tofu. Your gum will hurt if you keep eating beef."

"What? I can still eat them... give me beef some more. It's just... ground beef, not tough at all."

Talia and Former Patriarch Ding's exchange caused laughter in the pavilion. Liliana, Cassia and Old Master Ding were amused by their conversation over the hotpot.

Due to his health and old age, the kitchen prepared a separate broth for Former Patriarch Ding. He had his special little pot instead of having the one shared between the others.

As for the others, the kitchen made sure the ingredients served could be eaten by Cassia and Old Master Ding too. Liliana and Talia didn't mind about it. They simply wanted to enjoy having hot pot with their family.

"Great-Grandpa, this tofu is delicious," Liliana picked some of the tofu from Former Patriarch Ding's pot, putting them into his bowl, "Don't only eat the beef."
