บท 582: She Wanted To Get Over This Quickly

Despite hearing good news, Linda was still overwhelmed with surprise. She took quite some time to register it in her mind. Her eyes continued staring at Lucas and Kevin with incredulity written in them.

Richard... that man had been caught?

What else happened?

"Mother," Lucas softened his tone more. He laid his eyes on her mother's, "Aren't you tired? Why don't you rest first?"

Lucas sensed the questions brimming in Linda's mind. But, he was reluctant to burden his mother more than necessary when she had just woken up.

Telling Linda about Richard's capture was a must if they wanted to put her mind at ease. Yet, bringing up the rest might take a toll on their mother.

"But..."

Sharing the same sentiment as his brother, Kevin gently interjected, "You still look tired. How about getting another nap before we answer your questions?"
