"How could he? He... not only he let people defame you but... also me?!"

Liliana's sorrow changed into fury. She clasped the bedsheet hard, veins popping up on the back of her hand.

The sight of Cassia' pale complexion made Liliana feel so sorry for her mother. There she was, lying motionless without knowing how much people had been defaming her.

"Mom... maybe, it's better that you don't know about it, en?"

The revelation gave Liliana a new resolution to cause chaos within the Xin family. She wouldn't just accept those slander ever again.

Her mother was never a homewrecker!

Liliana was aware of that fact but, knowing that Cassia was Thomas' legal wife before he divorced her to marry Katherine heightened the peak of her wrath.

That man was full of greed! 

Why did he marry her mother only to leave her for another woman?
