The sunlight the next morning felt inexplicably brighter and warmer to Liliana. She woke up early as usual instead of sleeping in like Talia.

Even though the tiredness that stemmed from last night's banquet still lingered, Liliana couldn't help but rise during the usual time. Perhaps, it was due to how lighter her mood had been.

Breakfast time had yet to start. Liliana changed her nightgown to a light sweater and mid-length pleated skirt. Then, she made her way to the garden nearby.

"Ah~ The air here is so fresh. Should I ask Grandpa and Great-Grandpa to have tea outside later?"

The tranquility of the morning brightened Liliana's mood further.

She liked stepping on the stony pathways placed on the lawn and walking alongside the slow-moving stream. The clarity of the stream allowed the sun to shimmer its lights on it.
