My view of the Observe skill had evolved significantly over my second life. Initially, I saw it as an indispensable tool for gauging an enemy's power and the danger they posed. For years, this perception served me well, allowing me to easily defeat dungeons filled with weaker monsters. However, I eventually hit a wall and learned an important lesson: stats alone don't define a being's difficulty. The most dangerous adversaries were often those with unique abilities I wasn't yet aware of. Poison, fire, acid, and lightning proved to be formidable challenges before I built up resistances, and some unique abilities still troubled me today.

This realization led to a deep appreciation for skills—innate abilities that could bridge the gap between stats or turn a close match into a one-sided fight. Experience played a crucial role, and I continued to grind levels despite minimal improvements to my stats. Each ten levels, my combat experience crystallized into a perk, refining my fighting style. I had amassed 59 perks so far, specializing in hand-to-hand combat and psychic powers, along with a few exceptionally powerful miscellaneous perks.

The ninjas before me had likely honed every ounce of potential in their bodies, channeling it into their personal styles through relentless training. Unfortunately for them, their efforts were futile as I advanced, preparing to strike with a single punch.

**Unarmed Fighting: (LV 581)** – Passive (Absolute Spin Style)

The ground trembled, the air shattered, and the landscape deformed as a wave of swirling force emanated from my fist, heading towards the four ninjas. It was a majestic display, an upgrade to my initial air punch. I watched, hopeful that the destructive energy would obliterate my enemies as it ravaged the world.

To my disappointment, the energy's relatively slow speed allowed three ninjas to narrowly dodge the punch, leaving only the largest one to endure the full force. He tried to shield himself by covering his head with his hands, attempting to minimize the impact. It might have worked if he hadn't been an immediate target. With my Spin allowing me to redirect force away from my body, I moved swiftly.

A single punch to the back of his neck, enhanced by my Spin, dispatched the large ninja painlessly. However, I was still far from achieving Golden Spin. The precision required for it was daunting, and despite my high dexterity, I couldn't yet master it. Nonetheless, my strength and Spin allowed me to generate a massive amount of energy, creating a powerful, albeit discounted, Saitama punch.

As the air pressure stabilized, I sidestepped to avoid an arrow, which, contrary to my expectations, exploded into a fireball that hit my orange shield. Shun Shun Rika, unlike Spin, was easily mastered but was poor for offense. To utilize it effectively, one needed more than strong convictions; it required a profound level of hatred and psychopathy to match my normal punches. Despite its offensive limitations, it excelled in defense.

The explosion's blastwave carried me sideways. While airborne, I summoned an orange shield and kicked off it to evade a black spear aimed at my spine. I landed behind the ninja in black, bending backward to avoid his scythe-like weapon as he attempted to decapitate me.

I frowned while dodging the scythe blade and used psychokinesis to deflect a dozen arrows back at the archer. Simultaneously, I shaped Shun Shun Rika into a sword to block the kukris targeting my kneecaps, identifying the real attack with my Supreme Awareness of the Natural World. The scythe swung down, and I rotated my sword to catch its tip.

The awkward position delayed me momentarily as arrows continued to rain down. To counter this, I activated one of my trump cards, **The World Turns**. By channeling my life force into a near-perfect Spin and creating a psychic whirlwind, I generated a wave of interference with spectacular results.

"Should have just taken the hit," I mused as I climbed to my feet. My move had forced me to lower my defenses to allow my chi and mana to interact, leaving me vulnerable. The result was a massive crater around me, about a hundred meters wide and two dozen meters deep. Of the two remaining ninjas, only the discounted Flashy Flash-like one showed signs of movement. Impressed, I noted he had just over fifty thousand HP left, a significant resistance to the damage.

Suddenly, a ray of heat and energy blindsided me, sending me sliding back. I summoned Shun Shun Rika to deflect the beam, carving a massive trench in the ground. I locked onto the archer, who was perched at the crater's edge, and rushed towards him. Arrows rained down, but I dodged or redirected them easily, closing in on my target.

In less than a second, the archer shattered his bow, transforming it into two large curved knives. He launched staggered swipes to disrupt my rhythm and inflict damage. He was fast but still slower than me. I grabbed the knives, letting them clash against my psychic barrier before kicking him with a Spin-infused strike that nearly severed him in two.

His stats indicated he was the weakest of the four, and his performance supported that. His offense was effective, but once bypassed, he was easy to kill. I raised my left hand, using psychokinesis to pull him closer before snapping his neck with my other hand.

As his body hit the ground, a spear pierced my back, scratching my epidermis. I staggered, the attack bypassing my Supreme Awareness of the Natural World. I twisted, stomping down and shattering the ground in a massive explosion. The distraction allowed me to see the fourth ninja, previously thought dead, and my eyebrows lifted in surprise.

"So you've dealt with the trash," the haughty golden-haired ninja said, now sporting enormous butterfly wings and a glimmering carapace. His antennae twitched aggressively, and his kukris had transformed into serrated insectile pincers.

"Rookies who haven't transcended the human condition have no right to protect our master," the black-clad ninja said, his form insubstantial, like fog or gas, with dripping sounds accompanying his voice. His light blue eyes regarded me with disdain. "Now that the novices are out of the way, I hope you don't mind if we get a little serious."

"If you'll permit me the same," I replied. Despite my confidence, I had fewer trump cards than I would have liked. From the manga and webcomic, I remembered the significant boost from monsterization. With some trepidation, I assessed my remaining opponents.
