บท 6: Milestones
With their fingers intertwined, Ino and Hirashi make their way down the street, "Hirashi, where do you see yourself in twenty years?"
The boy looks at her for a moment before answering, "That question came out of nowhere, i don't know, my goal in life is to be strong enough that no one will go against me, strong enough that legends such as Madara won't ever be able to compare to me... but I'd also like a house and family to return home too, a beautiful wife that will love me and a couple of kids"
They go on to talk about ninjas, food, animals, places they'd like to visit until they eventually arrived at her house.
After kissing the hand he was holding, they said their goodbyes.
Walking to the ramen shop where he was meeting Shikamaru and Choki, he sits on a nearby box for a moment.

To say his jaw his the floor wouldn't be an exaggeration, pinching and punching himself to make sure this was really happening.
'Oh my lord, this day get's better and better, what's next?'
'System, open my Gold Mystery Box, without the bright light and theatrics if you can.
In his palm is a scroll, opening it, he has to stop himself from laughing like a mad man.
'Thank you, god, or whoever is watching out for me', in his hand, sits the knowledge of the body-flicker technique.
After taking several breaths to calm himself down and inserting the scroll into his inventory, he makes his way to Ichiraku Ramen.
Finally reaching his destination, he sees a boy napping on a stool while another boy's belly grumbles loud enough that the entire village might hear it.
"Sorry I'm late boys, hey old man, a large bowl of ramen with all the topping you have", he sits in the middle of them, patting Shikamaru's back, waking him up.
He turns to Choki, "Sorry, i took so long"
Choji shakes his head vigorously, "We were worried something might have happened"
The bowls of ramen arrive, and the boys enjoy themselves, laughing, talking, and competing to see who could eat the most... Choji won.
As they push away their last bowls of ramen, Hirashi turns to the pony-tailed boy, "The sun's setting, we should head to your house while we still have time"
The Nara boy nods before they say goodbye to Choji with smiles, making their way to the Nara residence was easy since it was just around the corner.
After taking off their sandals and entering the house, Shikamaru is greeted by an angry mother but her face turns into one of surprise when she realizes the boy following him isn't Choji.
Before the boy can answer his mother, Hirashi interjects, "Hirashi Goto, I'm classmates with your son, it's a pleasure to meet you"
Yoshino Nara fad her mouth open like a fish, she wasn't used to such polite boys, "I suspect you have come to play shogi since that's all my boy ever does, go ahead, I'll bring you boys something to drink"
As his mother walks in the direction of the kitchen, Shikamaru turns towards Hirashi, "you need to visit more often, she isn't normally that nice", he says with a chuckle.
They both just laugh before Shikamaru pulls out and sets up the Shogi board.
Before they can start playing, the door opens to reveal Shikaku Nara.
Hirashi rises to his feet and holds out his hand, "Hirashi Goto, a friend and classmate of your son's"
To say that Shikaku was surprised by the strength of the boy when they shook hands would be an understatement.
"Nice to meet you, Hirashi", he says with a tired but genuine smile.
As the night gets on the way, the boys enjoyed themselves despite Hirashi never winning.
