บท 9: Preparation and Their First Quest (Part 2)
After Amy and I left the town of Havenstone, and saying our thanks to the guard that helped us once again. I was contemplating on whether to use the remaining 5 gacha pulls I had, considering there is a high chance I will level up during this quest.
"Yosh! Let's do it, who knows I may be able to get some new skills that will come in handy." I state out loud, to which Amy turns to look at me and ask.
"What are you going to do, Master Rei?" Her cute cat ears twitching slightly.
"I am going to pull my remaining 5 gacha, I am hoping that I might be able to get a skill that will be good for you, and I can test my transfer skill." I say with a smile before pulling out my first gacha orb.
As I open the orb an immense light appeared but quickly subsided leaving me with the notification that I have received the skill, Copy. The description read, "Copy is an incredibly rare skill that allows the user to copy not only the skills but also the titles of their companions. The limitation is that the user is only allowed to copy 4 skills and it requires a strong and genuine bond with the companion to activate."
"Wow, infinite luck really came through for me there. However, that's not the end let's keep pulling gacha." I happily state while getting excited.
I open the next gacha orb, and the brilliant light burst forth once again, revealing the skill I had acquired: Creation. The description read, "Creation is an incredibly rare skill that allows the user to manifest and shape various objects and items through sheer willpower and imagination."
After I pulled my second gacha, I started to come up with an idea, if I use my transfer skill to give Amy the skills and titles that we acquire and give myself the copy skill that we recieved, wouldn't I be able to use it to copy her skills. The only factor that could get in the way is if our bond is not strong enough at the moment and the limitation of only being able to select four skills and titles.
While I was thinking of such an idea, I decided to pull my next gacha. The luminous light enveloped us briefly before dissipating, revealing a finely crafted magic dagger. Engraved on the hilt were intricate runes that seemed to pulse with mystical energy.
"Look at this, Amy!" I exclaimed, holding up the magic dagger. "This is a weapon specifically designed for you, infused with powerful magic. It will enhance your natural magical abilities. You'll be an unstoppable force."
Amy's eyes widened, a mix of gratitude and excitement shining within them. "Master Rei, thank you for this incredible gift. I'll make sure to wield it with precision and unleash its full potential."
With a warm smile, I gently scratched behind her ears. "You deserve the best, Amy. It's crucial that we both have the tools and abilities to succeed. Now, let's move on to the final gacha pull.
As I opened the last orb, the radiance it emitted was dazzling, almost blinding. When the light subsided, a title appeared before me: "Experience Multiplier x10" The description below it explained, "This title grants the user an increased rate of experience gain by a multiplication of 10, allowing for faster growth and development."
"This, this is amazing. With this title we will be able to level up at a phenomenal rate." I happily state.
"That's great but what do you mean by we, Master Rei?" Amy asked with her confusion showing all over her face.
"Ah, I guess I should explain my idea, I am going to give myself the copy skill and use transfer the other skills and title to you. After which I will copy 3 skills and the experince mutiplier title to myself. As long as you do not mind of course." I explained to Amy.
"Of course I don't mind, Master Rei, but what will happen if our bond isn't strong enough yet, shouldn't you keep the title and skills for yourself?" Amy asked with worry evident in her voice.
"No it's fine Amy, even if the copy skill doesn't work yet, I am sure it will eventually. Now let's get started." After I state such I give myself the copy skill and use transfer to give Amy, the creation skill and experience multiplier title.
"What is this warm feeling?" Amy asked, feeling perplexed.
"I have just given you the title and skill." I answer. "Could you please open your status to double check that it truly worked?" I asked.
"Of course, Master Rei." Amy answered before opening her status screen.

"Thats awesome, now comes the harder part. Let's see if copy works at the moment, Amy even if it dosen't work at the moment please don't be upset, okay. I am sure it will work as we continue travelling and completing quests together." I state to Amy, with a sense of worry washing over me.
"I promise, Master Rei."
"Good, then let's finish this up so we start our quest." I state before, using the copy skill.
I suddenly heard the mysterious voice from before, "Please select the companion that you like to copy from." After the voice stated as such I saw new screen appear before me with Amy name on it. "It seems we already have a close bond after all." I thought to myself with a warm smile grazing my lips. As for the skills factoring in that I prefer close range battles and speed, I will select Feline Grace, Arcane Enhancements and Illusionary Veil, next I will select the Experience multiplier title as well.
"Copy has been completed, please check your status." The mysterious voice stated before vanishing once again.
"Let's see if this actually worked." I stated before opening my status.
