บท 175: Chapter 74 - Mariano (1)

My knuckles are still slightly swollen from beating up Marino to an inch of his life three days ago. I released all my frustrations on him from all the hits he did to me and from being unable to take my revenge on Filippo.

To my dismay, my father didn't fight back—not that he could because he was tied up. He just let me hit him without restraint. Punch after punch, kick after kick, he took it all. It was fucking unsatisfying. I only stopped when he went limp, but he's still alive though. And I'll keep him alive. Have him suffer all over again and then save him from dying. He can't die without my permission.

I didn't tell him what happened. He doesn't know that his favorite son is now dead. Part of me thinks that Marino still clings to the hope that Filippo will break him out of there. It's pathetic.
