She has completely forgotten about me even though we're just a few feet apart. Riri is in her own world, munching the food she laid before her. She fucking lets out a small burp and then giggles and I have to stop myself from barking a laugh. What the fuck am I watching? A fluffy bear eating her fill before she goes into hibernation.

When she gets off the stool, I think she's finished. But then she heads back to the refrigerator and then opens the freezer, searching for something. Then I see her staring at my Ben & Jerry's and my brows draw together as she licks her lips like she's a predator hunting for her prey.

Don't touch my Phish Food, Ree. That's mine.

With both hands, she fucking reaches for my Phish Food.

She leans against the counter right across from me and opens the lid of the ice cream tub. What are you going to do, woman? Eat with your fingers?
