บท 33: Chapter 13 - Gabriella (3)

I see my brother, Gael, who's been looking at me with a worried gaze. He has bags under his eyes as if he hasn't slept in days. The last time we spoke on the phone, he was very mad at me for my decision and I can't blame him. He pulls me into his arms and hugs me. "It's so good to see you," he tells me as he tightens his embrace.

I miss my family so much and seeing my father and brother today feels like something has soothed my chest and eased my worries. I don't know why Mariano didn't tell me we were meeting my family today, but regardless of his reasons, I'm so thankful that he brought me with him. I've been quite down during the weekend and this makes me very happy. It really means a lot to me. Perhaps I should thank him later.
