บท 169: Humiliated

Akira came running back with the collar in hand and quickly tossed it to me before returning to Lexi. This would be the first time that I am resorting to such… humiliating measures. However, seeing the scene of Lexi being stabbed and half-beaten made something in me snap. 

To outsiders, it may seem quite abrupt to suddenly snap like this and be the one labelled crazy, but in reality, there had been a hidden bottle slowly being filled up. 

There were so many times in the past on the battlefield that many of our own soldiers had died at Lou's hands. No one cared if she did, as to the military, they were cannon fodder. It didn't matter how they died, as long as it was on the battlefield. Of course, me being an emotionless husk didn't care since it never affected the mission, but now I only realise how heartless she truly can be.
