“Yes,” Milo confirmed. “No more questions, Ken. We don’t want to ruin the moment for you.”
Kenta opened and closed his mouth in quick succession. Then he smiled even wider when the elevator finally reached the fiftieth floor. The three of them exited from the elevator. Jensen focused on Kenta’s face as the small garden came into view, and so did Milo. Kenta gasped for a second or two before he darted his eyes back and forth between Jensen and Milo.
“It’s for you,” Jensen whispered as he leaned toward Kenta’s ear. “You’ve been rather gloomy ever since the exorcism. Milo and I hope that a garden may cheer you up a little.”
Kenta beamed at Jensen and Milo before he hugged them tightly one after the other. “Thank you.”
Before Jensen and Milo could utter a single word in response, Kenta had already run toward the balcony. Milo snickered loudly while Jensen shook his head in amusement.
