บท 65: Connections

Ace leaned against the door to the student council room, holding his breath in case they came after him. They didn't. 

And he finally released the breath he was holding in, sighing in annoyance. 

The hallway to the Council room is empty, most of the students must be in their classrooms still. 

It is a wonder that the Student Council does not have to go to classes if they don't want to. Yet ... they always score the highest marks in the exams. 

Ace slid to the ground, pulling his knees closer to his chest, sighing. 

I can't help but feel jealous of this body. 

People ... people trust him and care so much about his opinion. 

"You are an embarrassment to our family." He remembered the first thing his father said after he got married to his new wife. "Just pretend that you do not exist and everything will be fine." 

"You really are never going to amount to anything."
