บท 29: Chapter 29
'I want to say a big thank you to everyone who made this movie a success, you all did a great job'. Nari said to the production crew.
She had just finished the final episode of her movie, which had been going on for few months.
They all gave her a round of applause as she takes her bow.
'I prepared this for everyone so let's all feel free to take whatever we want'. Nari said as her manager dropped some well packaged snacks on the table.
They all rushed to table to pick theirs, not forgetting to thank Nari.
'Thank you so much Nari, you are really an angel, it was also nice working with you'. One of the producers said.
Nari smiled as waved her hands.
'You flatter me too much, but I cannot thank everyone enough'. Nari sighed and looked at them with so much emotions in her eyes.
'I never thought a day like this is ever going to come, but everyone here made it, thank you'.
Mesmerised by the angels innocence they could not help but feel a pang on pain in their hearts.
They understood how Nari felt, since they could not also believe the movie shoot would end successfully.
There had been a lot of barriers during the journey of the shoot.
A lot of actors had dropped out due to reasons that are still a misery to them but Nari stayed, and convinced others for help, as well as helping them in the promotion of the movie.
Nari had been a great help in the movie making.
The producers encouraged Nari which helped her in becoming emotionally stable again.
'Thank you once again everyone'. She bowed and her manager led her to her dressing room.
Nari sat on the chair, removing the jewellery she had on.
'I'm so exhausted, I have to go home'. She mumbled.
'Mr Lee sent a car to take you home'. Her manager said to her.
Nari stared at her angrily.
'How many times to I have to correct you that you should refer to him as Mr Park uhhh Sena?'. Nari asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
'I'm sorry'. Sena said, walking to her with a bottled water.
Nari grabbed the water forcefully from her and gave her a sarcastic look before turning her gaze from her.
'I would be going home now, I'm feeling bit exhausted after the damn shoot'. Nari said and informed Sena to bring her clothes.
'By the way I didn't see Joshua after we ended'.
Nari suddenly remembered the actor she acted with. He was the male lead of the movie while she the female lead.
After the final shoot, he had gone to his dressing room and since then she had not seen him.
'He left as soon as it ended'. Sena said handing over Nari's clothes.
Nari looked at her in shock, she scoffed knowing the reason he left.
The both of them were never good partners from when the movie started till now, though they made sure they had good chemistry on screen but behind the scene they were just strangers.
She knew he was mad because she was initially not supposed to be the female lead. It was supposed to be Eunwoo a newbie actress just like herself, but after having Elvis talk with the producer the newbie actress was replaced by her.
She knew she did nothing wrong, if Eunwoo had just had the connection which she did, maybe it wouldn't have happened.
She didn't get the reason why Joshua would be so angry about it, if he wanted Eunwoo by his side he should have helped her, not making her look like the bad guy.
Nari was angry thinking about Eunwoo, thinking what makes her so special that even Joshua would ignore her during the entire production.
She had to do something about Eunwoo, even if she did nothing wrong.
'Where is Eunwoo?'. She asked her manager who was taken aback by her sudden question.
'She travelled out of the country for some event'.
Nari looked at her confused.
She did not know any event happening.
'What event?'.
'The launching of Joe's new jewelry collection, most actresses were invited, and Eunwoo is a VIP guest, she would be modelling some of the items'. Sena explained.
'An event and I wasn't invited?'. She half screamed angrily.
Sena shrieked in fear, her grip on the notepad on her hand tightened.
'Why was I not invited'. She asked turning to look at Sena.
Sena shook her head shuddering in fear, she could not dare answer the question because it will make Nari more angry.
'I asked a question Sena'. She grumbled angrily.
'I have no idea, but I think Joshua helped her'. She quickly said.
Nari was already so close to her that she feared she might do something stupid.
Nari stopped on her track hearing Sena's words.
She crossed her hand in front of her chest and returned to sit on the chair.
'When is the event?'.
'Tomorrow at dawn'.
Nari nodded her head and took the lipstick on the table, she applied it on her lips and looked at her flawless face on the mirror.
'I guess Joshua left to meet up with her, right?'. She asked looking at Sena through the mirror.
'He was invited'.
'Which means I am the only person left out'. Nari chuckled at her own words.
They really dared made her an outcast.
She had always wished to visit the Joe's jewellery and model one of their item, to increase her popularity, since the Joe's jewellery is the second most popular and famous Jewellery company after the Seo's highlights of course, but she would never have the opportunity of modelling for the Seo's since it was Chaeyoung's company, but for the Joe's, she could not loose the chance too.
'Call Eunwoo, and tell her not to attend the event, if she refuses let her know I still got her brother tied around my fingers'. She said to Sena.
Nari stood up from the chair and grabbed her bag.
'Let's go, I have to prepare my things for the event'. Nari smiled and walked towards the door.
She let out a heavy sigh and a wide smile appeared on her lips before she opened the door.
'I'll take my leave now everyone, thank you once again'. She bowed and left.
