บท 445: Just An Act

Declan touched his back with his hands and the fire in his back vanished but it left burning marks and burnt clothes.

The mark started to vanish too. Leaving only the black soot of clothes as a proof that he was burnt.

Anne stared at his back hard when he turned to look at the woman who was still laughing like a maniac.

"That is enough. Leave right now before I forget who you are. Leave right now." his voice had so much force that even Anne trembled.

She felt like the ground shook as if it was trembling with fear too. Just who was this man standing in front of her?

The eyes of Even narrowed. She wanted to argue further but she knew that she could not win against Declan and if her father came to know that she had attacked Declan, she was going to be in a mess.

"It is not ending yet." she muttered with gritted teeth as she left from there stomping her feet hard on the ground.
