บท 36: Found You

Cora and Jared were curled up on the sofa watching a movie. They were laughing at a particularly funny scene when the doorbell rang. Jared absentmindedly got up to answer the door. Cora was slightly quicker to realize that they weren't expecting anyone and paused the movie taking off after Jared.

Cora stopped to grab a knife from the butcher block and that is when she heard a crash in the entrance hall. She went around the divider to find Jared against the wall with Margo's hand clamped around his throat. Antione was behind her telling her urgently to stop.

Cora did the only thing she could think of and put the blade against her own throat and slid in between Jared and Margo so she could look Margo in the eye.
