บท 37: Visiting Jay!
Barry followed Jay to a bank to see him standing in front of Earth 3's trickster who had a bomb strapped to his chest. Barry sped around the Trickster and disarmed the bomb and then cuffed him to a pipe on the wall. He then sped away with Jay right behind him. Barry came to a stop on an empty roof. Jay came to a stop and smiled a little when He saw Barry. Barry smiled and said "hey". Jay said "hey kid, thanks for the assist". Barry smiled and said "it's no problem at all". Jay smiled a little and asked "I hope you don't mind me asking but why are you here, something tells me you didn't come two earths away from your own to say hi or to catch my trickster". Barry smiled a little and said "we need your help with something, we just need information". Jay nodded and then asked "we". Barry smiled and said "you'll see soon, I need to go get my girlfriend, I kind of left her and chased after you because well, we didn't know where to look". Jay smiled a little and said "I'll come with you and we can walk". Barry nodded and sped away with Jay right behind him.
They both came to a stop beside Kara who was sitting on a bench waiting on them. Barry smiled and said "hey babe, we're here". Kara smiled and said "hey Bar". Jay smiled and asked "this is the girlfriend". Kara smiled and stood up. She said "I'm Kara Danvers, it's nice to finally meet you Henr..... Jay". Jay smiled and said "it's nice to meet you too Ms Danvers". He then smiled at the baby and asked "and who is this". Barry smiled and said "it's our daughter Dawn". Jay smiled a little and said "that's a lovely name". Kara smiled and said "thanks, it was Barry who chose it". Barry smiled and said "it was the both of us Kara". Kara smiled more". Jay said "no offence kid but I don't remember you having a kid or a girlfriend a few weeks ago after I was freed from Zoom". Barry scratched his neck and said "it's kind of a long story". Jay sighed and said "you time travelled". Barry nodded and said "I know, and before you give me the whole, time travelling is reckless, and dangerous speech, I know, and I know I shouldn't have, but I wasn't in the right mind space at the time". Jay nodded and said "I get it Barry, I do, I've been in your shoes before". He then said "you have lost more than what I have and I'm amazed at how you can keep going, very few people have the strength to continue". Barry smiled and said "well I have friends and family who are there for me, that I know I can always rely on them if I need to, They have always supported me through everything and I couldn't do it without them, especially without Kara, she has helped me so much, not just here but in Flashpoint, I couldn't imagine a life without her". Kara smiled and said "I think the same about you Bar". Barry smiled at Kara. Jay smiled and said "well we have a lot to catch up on then, come on, we should get to my house and continue this as well as the reason why you came, it isn't a far walk from here". Barry smiled and nodded. He then began pushing the buggy as Kara walked beside him with her hand on top of his and Jay leading the way.
As the three stepped into Jay's house, He asked "do you two need anything". Kara smiled and said "can we have a glass of water". Barry smiled and said "yeah, if you don't mind". Jay smiled and said "it's no problem kid". Barry smiled and nodded. Jay smiled and said "well make yourself comfortable, and we'll talk when I get back, I hope you can stay for dinner". Barry smiled and said "I'm sure our earth can go without us for a couple hours". Jay smiled and nodded and then disappeared into the kitchen. Barry lifted Dawn out of the buggy and asked "honey can you get me the bottle". Kara smiled and sat down on the couch and brought the bag over to her and began rummaging through it. Barry chuckled and sat down beside her. Kara smiled and said "ah ha, got it". She smiled and handed Barry the bottle over. Barry smiled and said "thanks babe". Kara smiled and said "no problem honey". Barry smiled and took the bottle and then began to feed Dawn. Jay came back through with two glasses of water. He handed them both to Kara who thanked him. He then sat down on the other couch and smiled at the two. Jay smiled and said "you really suit being a father Barry". Barry smiled and said "thanks Jay, but I don't think I could Do it without Kara". Kara smiled and said "but you did do it without me, after you returned from Flashpoint". Jay asked "so what exactly is this Flashpoint". Barry was about to speak when the sound of the door opening stopped him. They watched as a familiar woman entered the house with a smile and said "hey honey I'm back, I didn't know we were expecting guests over". Jay smiled and said "It was a sudden thing". Kara looked over to Barry who had teared up. She asked "are you ok Barry". Barry said "I'm fine.... I.... I just need some air, I'll be ok". Barry got up with Dawn and excused himself. He then headed outside and sat down on the porch as tears fell from his eyes.
