บท 195: Stand up to put up a fight

Marion resigned herself. She let Gabriella sink her teeth into the surface of her skin, remembering how Shana had managed to recover from her ferocious form. She hoped the same would happen to Gabriella, eventually.

Marion shuddered as Gabriella, in the form of a bloodthirsty creature, sucked her blood as if it were almost gone. If it wasn't for William pulling Gabriella's body, she might already be a name.

"GABBY! What are you doing? Are you even aware of this?" William snarled, not accepting that his friend was trying to harm the woman he loved.

"N-no, Will... I allowed her to suck my blood. I was hoping she would heal like Shana." Marion hissed, feeling the pain in her neck. "Damn it! Her fangs are sharp too. I almost broke my neck, just now. Thank you for coming, Will."

William nodded and laid the unconscious Gabriella down. Her teeth, which had been pointed, slowly returned to their original state.
