บท 79: Conspiracies and Speculation

Marion blinked faintly. Was she not wrong with what William had just asked? Shouldn't Marion be the one to question that?

"Will ... are you sick?" asked Marion, who sensed that William might be joking or that he might be in a bad mood. However, when Marion asked that question, William just snorted.

"Never mind, there's no need to talk anymore. I don't want us to fight again just because of a misunderstanding or because you don't want me to talk about things you don't like. Come on in ... you'll catch a cold." William then put his arm around Marion's shoulders and led her back into the mansion.

As Marion stepped in, William turned and looked back over his shoulder. He had sensed someone was watching the two of them while they were talking. William didn't want to linger outside because it was never safe for Marion.
