as long as the beginning of your two stories is as beautiful as the beginning of the beautiful end of each other, I will gladly read them again and again
As of writing this review I have read chapter 33 First off writing quality, the quality of writing is solid at times you can tell there was AI used (which I personally don’t care about) however the parts where you notice it’s use are rare and don’t hamper the writing quality. The writing is clear and easy to understand what the author is trying to convey and isn’t confusing at all. Next is updating stability which has been consistent no negatives as of now Story development has been wonderful with the story having a logical and interesting progression with the MC making decisions which would fit in with the characters personalty and views. I was concerned about the lack of antagonists whole reading however in chapter 32 or 33 (can’t remember) there was a real threat that has been introduced which I hope will grow into a real challenge for the MC as to further develop him and flesh him out as a character. Character design is one of the weak points of this story however it doesn’t affect the overall story that much it’s just be nice to have a better description of what characters look like. The world building as of chapter 33 has been brilliant there have been clearly established powers and factions that have been set out. Although they haven’t been developed further which makes sense considering that the MC is a mercenary as of now so it make sense they would have a surface level understanding of the established powers which would most likely change as the MC becomes more invested in these gorups. The northern nobility and the north in general was fleshed out really well so it’s easy to understand the culture, morality, the threats and the governance of the northern empire. My final part of this review will be on the lack of relationships the MC has currently I don’t think the man has a single friend which fits in with his character but it’s still be nice for even hsi subordinates to be developed as characters so he can talk to people who aren’t only business partners, people who are terrified of him and people who want him dead. Just think it’s be nice for him to at least one friend lol.
