บท 20: Chapter 20

"Em?, get up", Matthew whispered looking at me. I paid no attention to him. He walked over to us, searching with his eyes for me. The boys signaled to him that I was sitting. They made way for him and he was now in front of me, in his black laced jacket. "You're Emily right?", he asked looking at me. As if. What does he take me for, a fool?. Well, he's the real fool. "I've heard about you, a lot, the hot chic in school right?, are you too hot to stand?.", he asked looking at me. I looked up at him with a face full of anger. I looked around the dining room and spotted Cody, leaning against the doorway with folded arms. He followed my gaze. And I guess that made him even angrier, because he looked back at me with hurt in his eyes. In quick seconds, I was on my feet from that hard pull Rico and Scott gave me. "See what you made me do?", he asked me enabling me a lone to hear. "Boys?", he asked walking out of the dining room. They followed behind him.I shook off their filthy touches from off me. The entire dining room was steering at me. I heard different whispers from everyone. 'She was that brave', 'hot chic'. I grabbed my my bag off the table and walked out of the dining room as fast as I could. "Emily!?", Clair shouted. I could hear the whispers behind my back. i glanced at Cody at the doorway and kept walking. "Emily!?,", he shouted. i continued walking in the hallway. "Hey!", he shouted coming in front of me causing me to come to a stop in his chest. "Whaz up with you?", he asked. "Is that the way you apologize to me, by kissing me. What the hell Cody!", I shouted walking pass him. "Em!", he shouted . I stopped." Can we talk?", he asked "Trust me when I say this Cody. I am in no mood to talk to anyone, especially you. So just please, leave me a lone", I said looking at him and walking pass him. I had reached outside, and was now waiting on George. I felt when someone spun me around, kissing me. I knew it was Cody. I recognized the taste of his lips. Why does he keep on doing this?. He broke the kiss. I could feel a million different people staring at me. I could just slap him after repeating his childish act, but I couldn't. "I'm falling in love  with you Emily, and I can't control it. Every single day I get up, the only person I think about is you. I I dream about you every single day. Whenever I'm around you, I can't talk to you in the way I want to", he said coming closer to me. He looked at me with tears in his eyes . I almost  cried too. "Tell me you feel the same way about me Em", he said.. I could feel the stares all around me. I looked at him, but something or someone was trying to ruin the moment. I looked up at the building and there he was warning me. I looked around me and there they were. Rico and the other boys coming towards me. I looked up through the window, to where Cabello was. I shook my head at him in disbelief. "Em?",I heard Cody asked. I grabbed him kissing him. The entire crowd cheered. I broke the kiss smiling. "Finally, you've kissed me back", Cody said. I had no time to look at Cody, I was so confused at what was going on around me. Cabello was already outside walking towards us like a giant. I grabbed Cody's hand squeezing it. he looked at me frightened. I kept looking at Cabello. "I thought kissing was banned from River dale High", Cabello said walking up in our faces. I kept holding Cody's hand. "Young man, you should know better, kissing  in public/", Cabello asked." Sorry sir ", Cody said. "Don't sorry me it's a strict violation you've committed and for that you're suspended from school for one month", Cabello said. I felt when Cody drew his hand away from mine with a sad face. "Sir please", Cody begged. "Don't sir me, my decision is final", Cabello said . "What stupid decision is this!?", I shouted. "Miss, keep quiet", Cabello said seriously. I looked at Rico who was laughing. He saw me and cleared his throat. "I think you're the one who's suppose to keep quiet ca....(I paused). (looking at him). You don't know anything about the school rules do you?", I asked walking up to him. He smiled at me. "Step back in your place Camille", he said. "What'd you just call me", I asked angrily.
