บท 100: Chapter 90.2 : Finally Over??

---

In the city, the Knight of Sacrifice raised his arm, his hand crackling with dark, shadowy lightning.

"This isn't just about killing you, Mr. Edward," he sneered. "This is about sacrificing you for a greater cause!"

As he finished his ominous speech, the Knight of Sacrifice was suddenly startled. How had his companions fallen so quickly? Panic set in—something was seriously wrong!

The Knight of Sacrifice sprang into action, but before he could move, he was taken by surprise.

"Soul of Satan!" A white-haired female demon burst forth, her fist glowing with dark energy.

"Dark Spark!!!"

A black sphere of magic formed in her hand, emanating a sinister aura.

The Knight of Sacrifice was about to strike back when he suddenly felt an intense pressure on his body.

Looking down, he saw that the very stones beneath him had transformed into stone chains, binding him tightly.

"Spare me!" he pleaded, but it was too late—the battle was over, and Fairy Tail stood victorious.

The Knight of Sacrifice kept saying, "Sacrifice is inevitable," before but now his final words were pleas for mercy. Unfortunately for him, Mirajane wasn't about to grant it.

*Thud, thud, thud.*

With almost inhuman speed and power, her fists rained down, delivering nearly a hundred punches in a matter of seconds. It was brutal.

That's when Tiffany burst onto the scene.

"Red Thread Lock!"

Her fists and forearms were wrapped in strands of glowing red thread as she darted toward the Knight of Sacrifice, her form a blur of crimson energy.

"Fiery Fist of Destruction!"

One strike.

And the knight was down for good.

Everit, watching from a distance, took in the scene with growing unease. The "Demon Queen" with white hair and the "violent gorilla woman" with green highlights were forces to be reckoned with.

He couldn't help but shiver.

Tiffany turned her gaze toward Everit, who'd been lurking in the shadows. She gave him a cold stare.

"Hey, look, it's Crispy Goose," she said with a smirk, addressing Everit. Turning to Mirajane, she added, "Miss Mirajane, I'm sorry, but with all this chaos, it's probably not the best time for a shopping trip. Plus, this idiot just killed the vibe. Maybe we can hit the mall some other time?"

Mirajane shrugged, somewhat disappointed. "Sure, I guess."

As Tiffany began to leave, she paused, then suddenly took off one of her shoes and hurled it at Everit, who was standing with his back to her, looking off at the cliff's edge.

*Wham!*

"Aaaah!" Everit yelped as the shoe struck him square in the head. He picked up the offending footwear, glaring at Tiffany with pure fury.

This woman!

"A little tap, that's all," Tiffany said, sticking out her tongue in mock playfulness before turning on her heel. Nearby, the grass and flowers swirled up, weaving themselves into a new shoe, which she promptly put on.

She skipped off with a spring in her step, leaving Everit fuming behind her.

"Humph!"

Everit snorted angrily, tossed the shoes aside, and attacked with a barrage of magic, leaving nothing intact! He then turned his gaze back to the cliff.

He'd been trying to figure out where the heroic knight was hiding.

Eventually, he locked onto the top of the cliff.

It couldn't be too far, because the magic transmission was nearly instantaneous, without much delay.

But it couldn't be too close, otherwise his presence would have been detected by his magic.

The spot had to offer a good view of the battlefield.

With that in mind, Everit flew up to the cliff, but before he reached the top, he sensed the knight's presence.

Heroic? More like cowardly!

There were more than twenty clones on the cliff, each identical and dressed alike, all lying on the ground, waiting to be teleported and explode on command.

The heroic knight had a boomerang in hand, but he pressed it against his back, transforming it into a flying device with jet engines.

Planning to escape?

Everit raised his hand, firing a virtual flash.

No remnants left behind!

With the death of the heroic knight, the twenty-plus clones began to swell.

"Uh-oh!"

Everit's face turned pale.

'Boom!'

A thunderous explosion rocked the land, causing the cliff to collapse.

The ground shook as boulders and debris tumbled toward the town below, like an apocalyptic scene.

People in the town below were in shock.

Everit quickly shouted, "It's the heroic knight! His real body was on the cliff. He saw his clones getting killed, so he triggered them to explode. You have to stop the collapsing cliff! I'll go after him!"

"Got it!" Natsu nodded and jumped high into the air.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Crimson Lotus Exploding Flame Blade!"

With a fiery flourish, Natsu's twin blades of fire cleaved through the massive rocks, breaking them into smaller pieces.

"Heavenly Wheel Armor, activate!"

"Heavenly Wheel: Sword of Provoking Chaos!"

"Thunder Dragon's Roar!"

Rocks shattered everywhere as the attacks collided with immense force.

"Juvia!" Gray shouted, "We need to work together to block the debris and soil!"

"Understood!" Juvia was thrilled to be cooperating with Gray. This was something she'd only dreamed of!

"Tidal Wave!" Juvia commanded the nearby water, creating a massive wave.

"Ice Age!" Gray froze the wave, creating an enormous dome of ice.

The falling rocks and debris slid off the ice dome to the sides of the town, diverting the damage. Although some buildings were submerged, no one was hurt.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"I got him," Everit said as he returned.

"It's all over," Gray said.

"Yeah," Everit nodded.

With a long sigh, Gray fell to the ground, exhausted.

"I can't move either," Juvia said, blushing as she collapsed next to Gray.

"Get a room~" Happy flew in with a cheeky grin.

"." Gray was at a loss for words.

"." Juvia blushed even harder, her excitement showing.

"Lucy, are you okay?" Natsu asked as he came over to her.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Lucy replied with a nod.

"Get a room~" Happy chimed in again, darting between them.

"." Lucy rolled her eyes.

Erza and Laxus found a nearby stone to sit on, catching their breath. Before they could say a word, Happy zipped over to them.

"Get a room~"

"." Erza was too tired to respond to him.

Electricity crackled at Laxus' fingertips as arcs of lightning danced around him. Happy, sensing danger, quickly scampered away to safety.

"Hey, Everit, and everyone!" Mirajane greeted as she approached the group.

"Mirajane?" Everit and his friends were surprised to see her. He'd felt her magical presence earlier, but seeing her here was unexpected.

"Miss Mira?" asked Happy, wondering why she had come.

"What brings you here?" Laxus asked, barely looking up from his sparring.

Mirajane smiled. "I came for a little shopping, but it looks like my plans have changed." She then reached out and gently rubbed the back of Everit's head. "Are you okay?" she asked with concern.

Everit winced slightly at her touch. "It stings a bit," he admitted, sounding a bit aggrieved. He'd been in a few battles that day, but the worst blow came from a shoe thrown at his head.

It reminded him of a scene from a movie, where the indomitable Wang Chongyang was unceremoniously struck down by a flying shoe. Not exactly how he imagined his day would go.

Mirajane giggled softly. "Would you like me to blow on it to make it feel better?" she asked with a playful smile.

Everit shook his head with a helpless grin. "I'm not a kid, Mira," he replied, but she had already started to rub and gently blow on the spot where he got hit. "There, there," she said, her voice soothing. "The pain will fly away~"

Just then, Happy came rushing back, interrupting the tender moment. "It's time to run!" he squealed.

"Get a room~".

Everit raised an eyebrow. "Getting a bit too into this, aren't you, Happy?" he teased.

Happy's expression turned from playful to panicked. Without another word, he darted off, leaving a trail of dust behind him.

Welcome to Fairy Tail, a place full of unexpected friendships and lighthearted moments. Ikaruga, watching from a distance, felt a pang of envy. This was the camaraderie she had always longed for.

"Sister Ikaruga," Emily said, hugging her around the waist, "let's join Fairy Tail."

Ikaruga remained silent, a flood of emotions washing over her.

Gray, who had been observing the scene, suddenly piped up. "Hey, didn't we come here to check out Alex's machine exhibition?" he asked, seemingly out of nowhere.

The mention of the machine exhibition made Natsu, Everit, and Happy collectively droop their shoulders in disappointment.

Sometimes, in the chaos of Fairy Tail, plans change, but at least there's always good company.
