"We are through," Gabe announced, and I groaned in relief. No one else was at home, which was a real shocker, considering how many people lived in this house.
"Now that we finished, you might want to clean this room." I pointed out as I walked to the printer. I retrieved the papers from the table and handed him his own part before putting mine in my folder.
"It's not that messy," Gabe told me, and I stared at him, unamused.
"Yeah, this isn't messy. I know what messy looks like, and this isn't it. Ashton's room is the real definition of dirty, with wires, food and clothes scattered everywhere. Yours is like one-third with the number of socks I can count and video games on the floor."
"You know, I can guess just how messy your room is."
I smiled as I folded my arm to my chest. "Well, that's where you're wrong. My room isn't messy at all."
