Uncle Dan recovered from staring at Aiden and me and turned his head so fast to see my dad that I could swear he got a whiplash. "What, no? I swear I actually won."

"No, you didn't," My dad- yes, people! My dad said in the most childish voice to prove he was right. "I did."

"No, that's not true! What about that week in Pensacola? They were actually dating then." My uncle complained.

"No, they weren't even official that time." My dad said in a 'duh' tone.

I didn't understand the fudge they were going on about, but I had a concept. "Wait, you two bet on us?"

Daniel sighed. "I said that you guys would get together before the month of December, but your dad here said it would be sometime in January. He was so sure about it that I felt I had to make a bet with him."
