Shen Yue looked at the foreign female student standing in front of him with some surprise. He recognized her as one of the students he had met earlier. She had been paying close attention to him at the time, but he hadn't expected her to come find him directly.

After a moment of silent staring, the petite female student averted her gaze, peered into the room and remarked, "It's pretty cold outside, can I come in and sit for a while?"

She spoke Mandarin surprisingly fluently.

Shen Yue was puzzled, but muttered an "uh-huh", and stepped aside.

The female student entered the room without any hesitation and began to rub her cold, numbed hands as she curiously took in her surroundings.

After a while, she seemed somewhat disappointed. She turned towards Shen Yue, extended her hand, and said, "My name is Jessica. I am a student in the Faculty of Arts at the University of St. Andrews."
