"Oh!" she blinked, "you are an intelligent man, duke Rohtman. I felt strange that you misunderstood such a basic thing. But now that you apologize, of course, I will forgive you." she said with a smile and a nod.

He smirked. Of course, he knew that she would not be able to press the matter if he would take the initiative to ask for punishment. 

He is such a high nobles with years of support to the royal family. If he would be punished by her or she misbehaved, she would be the one who would lose her image.

She would be called a cruel and cold woman or worse.. She was jealous of his position that was why she was trying to press him.

Since the matter is resolved well. He can leave freely now. With that thought, he stood up when she smirked at him.

"And as far as you are asking about punishment.. How could I give you one? But.." but? The widening smirk on his face turned stiff as he looked at her.
