"So. What brings the two of you here? To this old women's slumber den?"

Hearing her words, I then began explaining about my purpose and other stuff, narrating a brief story about how the Parasites are coming to the Netherrealm and how I ended up here in front of her.

I didn't tell her everything but mostly the important stuff, and she patiently listened to me from the start to the end.

Then, after the story ended, she sighed a little before speaking.

"I don't want to get involved… is what I want to say, but it seems like, if the entire Netherrealm is involved, I should at least contribute something towards your journey. Well… not dragging it, here, take these."

She then created a couple of orbs before throwing them at me.

I caught them with a cautious yet curious look as I examined the orbs.
