"Bringing you back?" Ari frowned as she did not understand what Nicolai meant by those words. "What do you mean to say by that?" 

Nicolai smiled at her, his fingers tracing the scar of the healing wound on the side of Ari's waist as he replied, "From an unpleasant place—I really thought that I was losing my mind, you know?" He then swooped down and claimed her lips once more before saying, "Now just wait for me and don't even think of running away, or I will tie your feet the next time." 

"Nicolai!" Ari hissed when he pinched her hardened bud with an annoyed expression on her face. She swatted his hand while ignoring the little sparks his actions sent to her core. 

The man chuckled as he turned on his feet and then headed inside the en suite bathing room.
