บท 307: The spell faded

'Do you think your divination can be wrong this time?' The King had questioned, to which the old man laughed, 'My divination has never been wrong. I can see the dark clouds looming over this castle. Your daughter's kindness will become the cause of her doom. She has a loyal heart. Even though she doesn't remember him, she would never forget the shared affection between them. You can hide her away from the world, but she will never be hidden from him.' 

As the thunderstrikes roared in the night sky, the young Maverick heard the old man's voice which had started drifting away from the court, 'Your daughter was never meant to live this life. He stubbornly gave it to her. He broke the rules by making her reincarnate. The heavens will never forgive him for his impudence. The life he gave her, he would become the reason it is snatched from her,' the old man repeated the same words he had said earlier as he left the courtroom.
