And Kate gathered the bundles into her handbag, wondering what she was going to do; whether to spend the money or not; and it had happened at a time she needed to buy Eva a birthday gift since her birthday was fast approaching.

"So barrister shall we proceed with the signing now?" Mr. Fanny said, winking at the barrister and Mrs. Fanny, noticing the cloud of surprise that covered their faces.
