~Kate and Eva fall out~

Eva had shades of fury when she heard Kate say , "Your mother was going out with Tony," and then her long face disappeared into a shitty frown that irritated even Kate herself.

"Did I hear you well, uh" Eva asked, sat up, and brought the duvet across her nakedness, leaving Kate to figure out what she was going to do with her nakedness. "Can you repeat yourself?" she asked losing her voice but clearing her throat to retain it.

Kate had her face in her arms at the time, stroking her hair, rubbing her eyes which lost in thought and felt pained for revealing what she thought could keep secret. Not only was she revealing a secret and getting her mind flushed and free, she was also unleashing a time bomb that would hit her hard if not Mary.
