บท 1: The boys (1) (Prolouge)
For those wondering what is going to happen to my other story....I am working on it still but ran out of ideas on where to take the story as I made the mc to powerful, personality was a little weird and etc... hopefully I can find a way to fix those things in time but for now enjoy this. \
..................................American Natural History Museum........................
"So Jack how are you doing today?" questioned a bald middle aged man, wearing a security outfit.
"Fuckin terrible so far, goddamned tourists....." replied a younger man with blond hair outfitted in the same security clothing.
"Well son, it can be like that sometimes...don't worry about it too much though, when you get to be as old as I am working the same job for the last 20 years eventually the days all mix together.... *heh*" finishing his little speech the man stood up from his seat in the security room and cracked his back before opening his mouth once more.
"I got to get home to my family, my wife is making chicken pot pie because my son is visiting for my birthday, so I'm gonna lock things up early, good luck on the rest of your shift Jack." the man then exited the dimly lit room with a wave.
"*Sigh* Have a great night John... I fucking hate this job....." mumbling that last part under his breath, Jack then proceeded to take John's former seat watching the monitors linked to the security cameras scattered throughout the museum.
.........................2 hours later, 11:22 pm....................
"AHH...fuck! Why the hell do I even do this shit, the chances of someone breaking into this museum are literally none, who the fuck wants dinosaur bones or moon rocks! Not to mention there is no fucking way out even if someone does get in due to the guards...*Sigh* Whatever I'm just gonna take a nap...." Jack proceeded to go to sleep in the dimly lit room, which is unfortunate considering the events of the next 5 minutes.
..........................8 minutes later, 11:30 pm (Jack's pov) .................
"Wakey wakey sleepy head." a calm voice echoed through Jack's ears as he sprung awake from his short nap. "Oh fuck!" was all Jack could say about his current situation. He was currently zip-tied to the same chair he had fallen asleep in. He was essentially frozen in an ice cube, if not for the fact he could move his mouth, not that it made his current situation any better. In front of him was a figure wearing an entirely black outfit, consisting of a black hoodie, black ski mask, and black leggings as well as black shoes not that it mattered what they were wearing, as they clearly meant to harm him in some form of way.
"Done staring at me? ...*Mumble* now, give me the passcode to the Allison and Roberto Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals, specifically the big diamond one." the robber was clearly annoyed about Jack observing them, and asked a goofy question that made Jack confused. They had never had passwords to open up exhibits, just bullet proof glass. Really though? a robber, fuck my luck.. Jack thought as he tried to develop a response.
"Ok..... we don't have codes or anything like that, so I can't really help you with that." replied Jack trying to keep his calm. He had never liked supes but he really wished homelander would save him right about now.
"Alright motherfucker your balls are fucking gone." replied the hooded and masked figure in a dead calm tone before pulling out a steel crowbar and swinging it at Jack's balls.
"What the fu...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!''
Jack proceeded to pass out in pain as the hooded and masked disappeared out of thin air leaving only a light purple glow behind. .
