In the evening, Wang Yao and his family had Peking ducks given by Lu Xian for dinner. The ducks tasted delicious.
"Hmm, tastes authentic," Wang Yao said.
"Have you had authentic Peking duck before?" Wang Ru asked.
"Of course," Wang Yao said.
He had been to Beijing several times. Chen Ying had taken him to all the famous restaurants with over 100 years of history.
Delicious!
Du Mingyang was a meat lover. He could eat a whole Peking duck. However, he was dating Wang Ru and considered a potential candidate to marry her. Therefore, he didn't want to lose face in front of Wang Ru's family. He tried not to eat too much.
Wang Yao's family invited Du Mingyang to sleep over. Wang Ru didn't say anything to object, so Du Mingyang said that he was happy to stay overnight. He slept in Wang Yao's room since Wang Yao was going to stay on Nanshan Hill.
"Look, Yao, maybe I should go with you to Nanshan Hill," Du Mingyang said as more of a courtesy.
