Avery Miller approached the glass enclosure where Ethan Montgomery was, and the scene inside left her utterly shocked.

"What... what is he doing?" Avery's voice quivered with a mix of anger and disbelief. She had always believed Ethan was suffering inside, but now... he was holding another woman.

The woman looked strikingly similar to Lynn, lying in Ethan's arms, completely naked, half-gasping, half-resisting.

And Ethan Montgomery, he was smiling at her!

It was like a lightning bolt striking her, almost knocking her unconscious with the sheer force of it.

Who had once promised to love only her?

"Lynn?" Avery pressed herself against the glass, tears streaming down her face, but she felt nothing.

She couldn't even hear her own voice, forgetting the words she had just spoken.

Mark stood beside her, his expression cold as he watched the entangled pair inside.
