บท 33: 33 : Nightmare
{ Samantha's POV }
I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling.
* I'm sorry Bill if you're disappointed at my decisions. But I know that Raymond's a better leader so everything would be alright. *
" You're already awake? "
Shino asked me.
" Mhmm. What about you? "
I asked him.
" I stayed up all night. I don't wanna sleep and I couldn't. "
He answered.
I looked at Chris sleeping.
" He's been exhausted. Been a rough week for him isn't? "
Shino said.
" Yeah, he's been in a really rough week. Let's just hope that everything will be better from now on. "
I whispered and stood up.
" See you guys later. "
I said and walked up towards Raymond.
" The hell you need? "
He asked me.
" Just checking, you're busy preparing for that huh? "
I said.
" Yes, it's for the sake of my people and for you guys. "
He answered.
" Just promise me that we'll never see each other again alright? "
He added.
" We won't. I'll make it sure. "
I said and smiled.
" Hi boss... "
Someone said from behind.
* Huh? *
Then I saw Tobi walking towards us with crutches in both of his hands.
" What happened to you? "
I asked him.
" Well...when we're fighting the White Horses, I got shot and fell at the ground. Kinda broke my bones but it's not that painful. "
He smiled and sat at the chair.
" So what'll we do now boss? "
He asked me.
" Oh, I'm not your- "
I was about to say what happened then Raymond laughed.
" I'm the new boss here. So from now on, you'll be following my orders. "
He explained.
" But- I thought Samantha was the- "
" No buts! Now stand up and guard outside. "
Raymond shouted.
" Shouldn't you let him rest? "
I asked him.
" No time for resting. If he can talk, he can guard. "
He said and went away.
* What a fucking idiot. *
" Don't worry, I'll guard outside. You can rest. "
I said.
" Thank you so much...I really admire your kindness. "
He said and smiled.
" No probs. "
I replied and went outside.
{ Shino's POV }
* Chris doesn't look alright. He's sweating. *
" Chris... "
I called him.
" Chris wake up! "
I tapped his shoulder.
" Wh...what? "
He asked.
" Thank god. Are you alright? "
I asked.
" It was a nightmare.... "
He whispered.
" Huh? What do you mean? "
I was confused so I asked him.
" No...don't mind it. "
He said and stood up.
" Wait where are you goin- "
I stood up too and followed him.
He was about to open the door.
" Why are you going inside? "
I asked.
" I'll check up on them, just wait outside. "
He said and opened the door.
* Ugh I wanted to see them too. *
I looked for Samantha but couldn't find him.
" Who you looking for? "
Someone asked.
" Oh, hi Tobi. "
I greeted him.
" Hello, uh Chilo? "
He asked.
" It's Shino. "
I replied.
" Oh my bad. Anyways, who are you looking for? "
He scratched his head and smiled.
" Well I was about to look for Samantha but I changed my mind. "
I answered.
" Well if you wanna talk to her she's outside. "
He said.
" By the way, how's Felix? "
He asked me.
" Well I wanted to check up on him but Chris didn't let me. Let's hope that he'll be fine. "
I explained.
" Yeah, Felix is a great guy isn't he? We should just have faith in him. "
He said.
" You're right. I'll probably be going now, see you Tobi. "
I replied and went near the windows.
* Sky's beautiful right now... *
" Hello pal! "
Someone tapped my shoulders.
" Huh? Who are you? "
I asked him.
" The handsome man in front of you is Dustin! Nice to meet you..? "
He introduced his self and wanted to shake hands.
" It's Shino. "
I shook hands with him.
" Why are you looking at the skies? You are not that old though. "
He laughed.
" It doesn't require anything to look at the skies. You're making no sense. "
I answered him.
" Damn you can't even take a joke?! You really are an old hag. "
He said.
" Don't mind me, I don't need friends here. I'll be coming back to my place."
I explained.
" Then I'll come! I'm bored here and got no family so I can come with you! "
He replied.
" What?! No that's not possible. Chris wouldn't agree- "
I said.
" Alrighty! Then I'll ask that Chris instead. See ya Shino! "
He smiled and went away.
* What is he planning..? *
{ Christoper's POV }
" Hey... "
Shila said.
" How are you? Is everything going well? "
I asked her.
" Mhmm, all is well. "
She answered.
" May I see Felix? Can you remove the curtain for a second? "
I suggested.
" Well you see...I can't right now.. "
She whispered.
" Why can't I? Is something wrong? "
I asked.
" Just not right now. "
She said then Ramon entered the room.
" Boss is calling for you. "
He said.
" Why? The hell he wants from me? "
I asked.
" Just follow his orders, I think we'll plan for something. To get back your base. "
He explained.
" Thank god. Shila, I'll be back later. "
I said then we went outside.
Then we went to the office.
" Good, everyone's here. "
Raymond said.
I saw Samantha at the side and went beside her.
" Where have you been? "
She asked me.
" I was checking up on Felix. I guess he's alright. "
I answered and smiled.
" Alright, when the preparations are already finished, we'll go near the White Horse's base because it says that the stuffs were buried in there. We need to be cautious when we are there because as I said, it is near the White Horse's base. "
Raymond explained.
" So, there's a fat chance that we will stumble upon them and fight them? "
Ramon asked.
" You're right, that's possible. "
Samantha answered.
They all looked at us with a different look.
* What the fuck is their problem..? She just answered the fucking question. *
" Then let's finish the preparations and move. "
I smiled and went outside.
I saw Shino near the window so I approached him.
" Guess what, we'll be heading to the location when preparations are done. "
I said and tapped his back.
" Thank god. I miss my friends in there, and someone wants to come with us. "
He said.
" Oh really? Who is it? "
I asked him.
" He's Dustin. Maybe if he finds you, he'll ask you if he can come. "
He explained.
" Mhmm, understood. Anyways, we should already prepare and get our base back. "
I announced while looking at the sky.
* Wait for us. *
