บท 2: 2 : Friends
I opened the door and I was extremely shocked when I saw someone I knew from the past.
" Wh- what are you doing...here? "
It was my ex girlfriend. She's covered in blood.
" Can... can I stay here..? "
She asked me then I told Stella to grab a cup of water then we went to the dining room.
" What the hell happened? Are you alright? "
I asked her then she explained everything to me.
" I- Well my neighbor knocked at the door but he's holding a weapon, my mom and I got terrified so we didn't do anything. He aggressively opened the door and grabbed our stuffs. Then my mom tried to stopped her but... things went bloody. I couldn't do anything but to watch them. My mother died because of me... I can't.. I.. "
I hugged her and tapped her back.
" No.. Samantha, it's not your fault. It's that person's fault. He won't hurt you anymore. I'll protect you. Don't worry, alright? "
She nodded and hugged me back.
The Next Morning
" Is your van still working? "
I asked my brother.
" Of course, here's the keys. You drive. "
He threw the keys to me and I told him to wake the others.
" Let's start this car and find a safe place. "
They all brought their stuffs and hopped inside the van.
We drove for hours until our car stopped.
" Oh god. Not right now please. "
I checked the engine then my brother hopped out the car.
" What are you doing? Get back in the car Lucas. Stella might be scared. "
He laughed then he went in the alley.
" Should I go get him? "
Samantha asked then I told her not to.
" He'll be fine. Maybe he needs to take a piss. "
Then I heard some voices through the alley where Lucas went to.
" Shit, he's in danger! "
I grabbed my gun and went in there sneaky.
I noticed that he's pointing a gun to someone.
Then someone grabbed me by surprise.
" Damn, this man has a gun too. Maybe we can steal their stuff. "
Then I noticed my family being captured. I tried to scream but he's covering my mouth.
" Heh, their mother and their little sister. "
I was wondering where Samantha went then I saw her hiding in the corner with a bottle at her hand.
" Tie them up then bring them to the base. "
Before I can scream, someone knocked me out.
