Most fanfic characters in DxD either have cheats, systems, special backgrounds, or know the plot for their SMOOTH plan.
This story doesn't have ANY of that convenient plot.
Well.... You can read other stories if you don't like this story.
This story only has the OG MC with different thinking.
What happens if Issei has a very cautious, grounded, but decisive mindset?
What happens if you take off the anime and boob logic out of the window with simple common sense?
What if... What if Issei never wished to be a Harem King?
All of these what-ifs make this story born.

finally, a dxd fic that actually managed to make issei likable is already pretty impressive and rare to find. I also like the direction of the story as it portrays the dxd world in more of a realistic way. This just doesn't blindly follow the trope of showing rias as a good guy, nor just staring out, making her the villain, but clearly shows her hypocrisy and showing that in the end, she still let issei die as saw it as a"opportunity". honestly, this shows a lot of potential, and I hope issei goes on his own path after finally getting hang of the supernatural world and rias better get some karma. other than that, this is a good story, and I hope the author can keep it as good as it is.
It only has 3 chapters but the author is showing us that the story is going to be more serius and dosen't show us that are two sides in the story, which are typicaly dark and white, but grey. Also it appears that the charcters are more profund in their personality, including the villains like Raynare!
Not really much of a reviewer but the story is a good take on approaching Highschool DXD’s chaos with a more grounded mindset. The Issei is different if your into classic Issei mindset, but I find the practical questioning point of view to be an interesting read.

Finally, a High School DxD fic where they focus on meticulous details. Issei in the novel/anime didn't even bother with his parents, etc (translater)
a truly serious and mindblowing dxd fanfic with great character development and the story is written in a different perspective. Seriously this story is worth it.
An interesting take on the otherwise boring and always same development of the main character. I can't wait for more and hope this story will be continued.
Hey everyone, thanks for reading my new DxD fanfic. I'm a beginner so I write this for fun and practice my writing skills. Please don't expect any groundbreaking scenes or an impeccable novel. Don't like it, it's fine. Just no bashing without reason, please. The main drive of this fanfic is too much cheats given by ROB, knowing the plot beforehand to win, or just pure cringe in the fanfic community. So I want to challenge that. I can't promise anything but I can confidently declare this fanfic will be a bit unique. The plot will be the same. But due to AU and different MC, the result will be ENTIRELY different.
