Duchess of Hope

Rebecca Bennett is the daughter of a noble who owns most of the marketplace property and job rights within the Kingdom of Rel. Living with her parents and a childhood friend named Sebastian Johannsen, Rebecca finds out that her parents want to arrange a marriage to one prince, Prince Aaron, the third son of the Bryson Royal Family.

Despite her best efforts, she grows sickened by the idea of wedding the man that only sees her as a comparison to another woman. The more her family pushes the idea, the sicker she becomes, to where she considers falling on her knife to get out of it. Her ‘brother’ has another idea, however, and helps her escape her fate.
