บท 329: There's No Way To Escape

Liumi gets up and notices the whale's bewildered gaze up at the sky, unable to understand what happened. Suddenly, the whale moves and puts his hand on her head abruptly. She jumps as she feels energy invading her body. Surprised, she looks at him but doesn't detect any malice and just accepts it.

Seconds later, she feels something being purified within her. How did this invade her without her noticing? She wonders, and that's when they withdraw their hand and speak.

"A demonic beast from the Body Destruction Realm attacked. It looked like a falcon with greenish feathers and used poison. Do you know it?"

"It's a beast from the Venomwing clan!" The Grassrunner trembles and thinks quickly. "The poison from their bloodline can kill anything it touches within a minute... but the cost of it is a significant part of their life; how is it possible for something like that to attack?"
