"I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" Ginyu announced high in the sky. We all felt the almost physical force of his killing intent, squeezing us like a vise.
Then, suddenly something else was squeezing my head like a vise. In a flash of pure speed, Ginyu had practically warped down and grabbed me by the skull, lifting me up off of the ground to look him in the eye.
Inwardly, I swore. I'd clenched my jaw and said nothing when Shay had cheerily informed me that the girls were going to make Ginyu appear first, because, as much as it annoyed me, their logic had been sound. So long as we could all survive the decimation, we'd all get pretty good boosts to our power from it, but still... I hadn't expected him to make a beeline for me first. I was totally helpless in his grip right now. If he decided to just crush my skull and kill me, my soul would instantly revive me, then release all of my seals at once. I was in a really precarious position.
"Jeice says that you fought Guldo. How did you kill him?" Ginyu asked me through gritted teeth. He was a lot angrier about it than he'd been in the canon... was that because of the differences in the situations? Didn't matter. If I answered this truthfully, I could just tell that he'd pop my head like a grape.
"He. Was. Weak! SILVER MODE!" I shouted, instantly quintupling my power level as his grip relaxed just a tiny bit in the shock of how blunt I was when faced with a situation where my life was practically in the palm of his hand. Capitalizing on his surprise, I leapt into action, generating a 6-inch blade of razor sharp ki at the end of my hand and swinging it at the arm holding my head, while simultaneously kicking his chest with every bit of power I had.
I didn't manage to sever his arm. Ginyu's reflexes were too fast for that, but I did manage to draw blood. He lost his grip for a second and I was able to kick off his chest and jump away, unharmed.
"Ouch!" Ginyu exclaimed, grabbing his arm, which had a fairly deep, clean cut on it now. "So, you can rapidly boost your power level, huh? 50,000 or so? Impressive. I can see why you didn't need help to finish Guldo off. Might've been able to give Burter a run for his money, too." Dropping his arm, apparently still able to use it, Ginyu let off a laugh.
"What's so funny?" I asked him warily.
"That's an impressive power, kid. Makes me a little less mad at Jeice, in fact." Ginyu said.
"Cap'n!" Jeice called out, thinking that he might be off the hook.
"Don't call me that anymore, Jeice. I told you. You're still a coward, and there's no room for cowards on the Ginyu Force." Ginyu berated Jeice, who backed down like a kicked puppy. "But it's pretty useless against me. You see, I've fought people like you before, and my current power... it's more than you can handle." Ginyu used his full strength again. I'd managed to get in a surprise attack, but I could tell that his current power level was around 80,000 or so, and Jeice had once mentioned in canon that his max was 110,000. I didn't have a chance of holding my own in a real battle against that without busting out all of the special techniques that I was hiding, which I didn't want to do.
Yet again grabbing my face, Ginyu slammed me into the ground with so much force that I lost consciousness for a split second. Dazed and confused, Ginyu kept talking to me.
"You know, I'm actually pretty glad. Guldo died fighting a real warrior. No underhanded schemes. Wasn't shot in the back. Just killed by a pure difference in abilities. The best type of death, in my book, besides old age. If it'd been someone like you killing Burter and Recoome, too, then I'd probably have let Jeice off the hook, you know." Raising his hand, Ginyu continued with a smug smirk. "I'll reward you with a quick death, as befitting one who killed a Ginyu Force member in an honorable, one-on-one duel."
"Not-" 'gonna happen.' I was going to say, but I was cut off before I could finish my sentence.
Ginyu, having coated his hand in energy, brought it down in a flash, piercing right through my torso. Even without using my energy to check, I could tell immediately that the wound would be fatal if my dad didn't get here with the Senzu Beans.
I'd managed to fire one last, desperate blast right into Ginyu's chest as I'd started to say 'Not gonna happen,' so the other three nearby didn't immediately see Ginyu shove his hand through me, not through the smoke. But as the smoke cleared, it became obvious to them what had happened.
Pulling his arm out of my chest, Ginyu stood up, a sadistic smile on his face, rightfully thinking that he'd just killed me. The other three didn't seem to know what to think. Their brains immediately stuttered to a halt, seeing my body lie there, a hole through it.
"That was a real warrior right there, you know. Honestly, if you had all jumped me at the same time as her, I probably would've been in real trouble! Good thing that there was only one person here with any sort of bravery!"
...
"So... Mistress is faking death?" A girl asked, watching the entire thing through the well.
"No, she's actually genuinely dying, but she's totally safe. Not like she can die, after all."
"I wanna rip that guy's head off his body. I wanna rip that guy's head off his body." Another girl chanted quietly. A lot of girls agreed with her.
"Well... Mistress wanted it this way, and at least he recognized her amazing-ness. I think we should let him go to the normal hell after he dies, rather than torturing his soul for all eternity."
"Yyyyyeahhh... You're probably right. Anyone who recognizes how amazing Mistress is, deserves a little leniency." And so... Ginyu's eternal soul was spared... for now.
