บท 169: Ch. 169: Noah and the New Genesis: Frieza's Punishment

"Riley, any news?" The very night that my dad came back, I snuck out of the house and slipped through space, finding myself in the mansion that I'd built on the Core.

It'd been quite a while since I'd been able to visit the Core. In fact, I hadn't had any time or capacity to visit the Core since I'd founded Legacy a year and a half ago. Since every year in real time translated to a decade Core time, that was quite a long time from the girls' perspectives, but the mansion and the grounds looked like they hadn't aged a day due to the girls' constant maintenance.

Chelsea had left Riley in charge of the daily affairs in the Core. It was a big job, but Riley was one of the older girls, and she was well-acquainted with the Saiba-worlds, which had been the main reason I hadn't felt comfortable bringing Chelsea into Legacy in the first place. Maintaining the Core and keeping the other girls in line wasn't that big of a deal. The girls had grown to number in the hundreds in the forty years Core time since I'd left, so all of the major maintenance problems got dealt with as a matter of course.

"The bastard is in the isolation chamber in the basement. Since he's currently in the process of being re-educated, it is rather... disgusting in there at present. I think that you should stay away from there at present, as your presence will crush his will and drive him past despair far earlier than anticipated." Riley explained to me as we walked down through the mansion's large garden.

She was talking about Frieza, or to be more specific, the Frost Demon that was, at one time, named Frieza. Now, his name was Trash.

Otherworld wasn't going to reform Frieza. No matter what they did to him, however long they did it, that bastard wasn't going to do some amazing 180 and become a good person. He'd just eventually escape, and then go on to continue his reign of terror. Essentially, his presence in otherworld was a waste, and one that'd eventually go on to bite us in the butt.

As an alternative, I had Frieza's soul sent straight to the Core for re-education. Honestly, it was a far more sadistic plan than anything that Frieza'd ever come up with, but he deserved it. Apparently, the first part of the plan was going swimmingly. We'd change the name that Frieza subconsciously associates his identity with from 'Frieza' to 'Trash,' and make him understand that, compared to his new captors, his full power, no matter how strong he got, would still end up a useless waste of effort, by using him as a punching bag for whatever girl wanted to use him, then tossing him in a cell when we were done. Apparently, the girls had kept him up for the last twenty hours straight, Core time, just beating the crap out of him, then healing him and switching out.

As far as Trash knew, right now, he was in hell. That meant that, as far as he knew, the girls wouldn't be able to do anything to him if he managed to get off of the planet. If he knew that they were torturing him out of their anger on my behalf, and that it was impossible for him to leave their sphere of influence or get out of their sight, Trash would immediately lose all hope of escape.

"I see. And the Saiba-planets?" I asked, trying to take my mind off of the horrifying things that I was responsible for putting Frieza through. As much of a bastard as Frieza was, not even he deserved the horror that was in store for him.

Noticing my unease, Riley went along with the change of subject and gave me an update on all of the Saiba-planets. "We're already seeing the beginnings of inter-planetary interactions. Planet Red has made contact with Planet Green, to the extent of ten Green casualties at the Red's hands, and three Red casualties at our hands. To prevent further casualties, we are enforcing a ban on Reds entering Planet Green's atmosphere, and we stationed a few girls on-site to enforce it.

As for Planets White and Blue, Planet White's second generation has begun a period of industrialization. Their average intellect seems to have grown exponentially compared to their parent generation. We expect them to figure out primitive space travel within the next fifteen years, Core time, and make physical contact with the Blues within five years of that. Both planets have already discovered ways of sending, receiving, and decrypting basic messages between the two worlds via light."

From the way that Riley described it, the strongest of the Reds second generation were already capable of surviving deep space and entering the Greens' atmosphere. The entirety of the third generation would likely be capable of doing the same thing, and once they realized that the Greens planet was off limits, they'd likely attempt to invade the Whites' world next.

The Whites were likely to respond to the extra-planetary threat by allying with the Blues to repel the threat, and the two planets would likely experience a cultural growth that blew would blow their technological levels straight past that of Earth's. It'd be interesting to see how the planetary alliance would interact with the less intelligent docile, winged, and aquatic Saiba-worlds.

"Thanks, Riley. You're doing a great job. Now, it's time to begin with Operation New Genesis." I told her.

Riley gasped, "Operation New Genesis?! Are you sure?! You know how-" I held up a hand to cut her off. I didn't need Riley telling me how stupid I was being, I already knew it, but my mind had been made up. Some part of me had always known that I'd have to do Operation New Genesis before the Android Saga began, and the events of today had only made that more obvious in my mind.

"Riley." I gave her a look. After a moment's hesitation, she nodded.

"Understood, Mistress."
