บท 59: Vegeta’s Anticlimatic Defeat
Goku and the others arrive at the place where Dai and Vegeta are fighting.
Apart from Goku, the others are taken aback by how powerful Vegeta is in his great ape form. And how Dai was still able to overwhelm the monster.
Of course, they sensed Vegeta's power level increasing rapidly when he transformed but they were so preoccupied with their respective foes that they were not able to realise how terrifying the power that Vegeta possessed was.
Krillin raised his hands as he started to create a Destructo disc but he was interrupted by Goku.
"Krillin stop," Goku said as he stood in front of Krillin and blocked his vision with his body so that Krillin was unable to throw his attack.
"Goku what are you doing? We have to help him." Krillin said.
"Goku. Do you want to watch the outcome of the fight before we step in?" Tien asked Goku.
Goku nodded. Krillin and Tien sighed.
"Are you crazy? Even if you are stupid you should still have a limit to your stupidity." Piccolo yelled at Goku.
They have already set Raditz free because of Goku's request but the situation occurring in front of them is even more serious than Raditz's case.
If Dai lost now is a chance that the planet might go Ka-Boom. Reduced to atoms.
"Piccolo is right. You should immediately go in to help him. This situation is not the same as letting your brother go." Kami also communicated to Goku from the lookout telling him that he should let Krillin and the others help but Goku was not backing down.
"I know that he is going to win. And I wanted to see how far can Vegeta push him." Goku said as he looked at Dai who was still fighting Vegeta.

"Impossible. You have been flying circles around me for minutes. How do you still have enough stamina and energy to the point that you can keep up with me without decreasing your energy output." Vegeta said to Dai in shock.
Although Vegeta landed a few good hits against Dai, Dai still looked like he was still in his peak condition.
However, it was only Vegeta's assumption as Dai's ki reserve was running out quickly. The only reason why he was still able to physically keep up with Vegeta was because of the magic enhancements that he applied to his body.
Of course, Dai was not going to tell Vegeta that information.
Dai knew that he had to finish this fight fast otherwise he would lose as Vegeta would start to overwhelm him when his stamina ran out and he could not keep his current speed up.
So he started to think of an attack that might be able to put down Vegeta once in for all.
He still has the Sprite bomb that he learned from King Kai and he knows that if he decides to use it he can one-shot Vegeta, assuming that Goku and the others lend him their energy.
He took a glance at Goku and the others who were watching the fight. Then he rejected the idea of borrowing energy from the others which didn't sit well with him.
He wanted beat to Vegeta all on his own. Then he remembered something.
Getting the tail cut off will make the great ape transformation revert.
He doesn't want to nerf Vegeta to win the fight but he has no choice. He is starting to get tired after all and there is only Senzu Bean left.
He would prefer nerfing Vegeta and winning the fight using his own strength. Instead of borrowing energy from the others and winning because of the strength that the others provided for him.
Vegeta tried to stomp Dai. Dai flew away from Vegeta's attack and was able to completely dodge the attack.
However, Vegeta put too much strength into the stomp as the foot he used to try to stomp Dai broke the part of the place where he stomped his feet.
"Now is my chance," Dai said as he flew towards the back of Vegeta where his tail was located.
He then created a sword in his hand using magic materializing and cut off Vegeta's tail using the sword.
A giant tail fell to the ground.
Vegeta's body started to shirk and the far that we were on his body started to disappear.
"You bastard." Vegeta cursed at Dai before he was tackled by Dai who was using his full power.
Vegeta coughed up blood. Dai then Grabbed Vegeta's hand and threw him into the sky before launching a ki blast at him.
Vegeta's body which was barely hanging to his life fell to the ground now bruised and battered.
"....." It seems like Vegeta was trying to say something but couldn't. Dai looked at Vegeta who was lying on the ground while covered in injuries.
"You did it. You defeated him." Tien said as he and the others landed near Dai from the sky.
The fight with the Saiyans that threatened the entire earth has now ended.
Anticlimatically.
