บท 18: Dai’s trump card
Goku punched Piccolo in the face.
"Tsk. I used too much of my power already when facing that brat." Piccolo said as he started to notice that his speed and attack potency were going down because he have already used up most of his power.
"Haaaaaa. Take this my full power." Piccolo said as he punched Goku with a powerful ki-infused attack to the face.
Launching him and flying away into multiple buildings seemingly defeated him on the spot.
"Grr. I still have not recovered enough Ki." Dai said as he prepares to fight Piccolo again.
However, Goku was not going down as he reappeared.
"Kamehame," Goku yelled out as he charged a Kamehameha.
"Ha." Then he launched it at Piccolo.
"Do you think it will work?" Piccolo yelled out as he prepared to block Goku's attack.
"Now," Goku said as he swipes the hands that he was using to launch a Kamehameha at Piccolo.
"!!!!" Piccolo was shocked by the outcome as the Kamehameha wave went around him.
"Taaaa," Goku yelled out at the Kamehameha that went around Piccolo and hit him in the back of his head.
"Boom." A large noise was heard as Piccolo went down.
"Get up. I know it doesn't do anything to you." Goku said to Piccolo.
"You...You are a monster." Piccolo said to Goku.
"That makes us two," Goku said to Piccolo.
The two then started to engage hand to hand combat again as they both try to go for a killing blow.
Of course, just by their power level difference, Piccolo should be winning the exchange but Goku was getting the upper hand as Piccolo was already very tired and injured.
"Why don't you go down?" Piccolo said as he restlessly attacked Goku.
"This fight is not going to be over until one of us dies," Goku said to Piccolo.
"Now. Tien Shinhan. Launched me in the air." Dai said as he now has enough power to launch a final attack.
Tien nodded and grabbed Dai by the leg as he throw him into the air.
"Almost there," Dai said as he tried to control the ki that was in his body to maintain his location in the air.
So that he can have a full view of the fight and be able to lock on to Piccolo.
"Goku gets out of the way," Tien yelled at Goku.
"!!!." Goku was shocked but knows what he have to do.
Goku saw Dai in the air with a stance that he had seen before and found out what he was trying to do.
Goku pull out the power pole from his back grabbed onto it and extended away from Piccolo.
"Huh?" Piccolo looked at Tien as he realized that something was going on.
"Take this solar flare." Tien used solar far as it blinded Piccolo for a few seconds.
"Now do it." He yelled at Dai.
"Kikoho," Dai said as he launched a devastation square shale Ki attack at Piccolo.
"Ahhhhhh," Piccolo yelled out as he was hit by the attack.
Kikoho was an attack that uses the combination of the user's ki and the life force to dish out massive attacks that can injure someone way above their power level.
"Haaaaaa." Dai didn't stop as he continued to use another Kikoho on Piccolo.
"Another one?" Tien was shocked.
At the kinds of injuries that Dai has he didn't think that Dai was going to be able to use more than one Kikoho.
His body was starting to give out and his ki reserve was going low.
But he didn't give up as he launched another one.
"Body doesn't fail me now. Haaaaaa." Dai said as he launched a final Kikoho and collapsed to the ground.
He lost consciousness and finally, he was taken out of the battle.
Tien jumped to catch Dai who fell to the ground and cushioned his fall with his body.
Goku went to the giant holes that Dai created with Kikoho to check if the demon king was finally gone.
And to his surprise, he found that Piccolo was still alive but was critically injured and was dying.
"Give up Piccolo. Now everything is over." Goku said to Piccolo as he looked at the demon king's critically injured body.
"No. I can't let the demon race die out." Piccolo said as he flew up into the air slowly.
Goku could have killed Piccolo at any time he wants but he didn't and waited to see what Piccolo was going to do.
"Goku finish him," Tien yelled at Goku.
But Goku ignored Tien.
"Avenge me. My son." Demon King Piccolo said as he spat out an egg towards a very far away location.
"It was a nice match, Piccolo," Goku said after he realized that all the power in Piccolo's body was gone he had to finish his task.
"I hope you come back as a nice person in the future." Goku said as he launched a Kamehameha and turned Piccolo into dust. It was now finally over.
"Tien. Are you Okay?" Goku said as he rushed towards Tien and Dai to help the two up.
"He is still alive," Tien said after checking Dai's heartbeat.
"Hey, what happened to Piccolo?" Tien asked Goku as he was not sure what happened.
"He died," Goku said to Tien.
"Hey, Tien I am going to Korin Tower to heal up. Do you want to come too?" Goku asked Tien.
"No. But can you take this guy there? I don't think a normal hospital would heal him up." Tien said to Goku as he pointed at Dai.
"Who was that guy exactly? He is really strong." Goku asked Tien.
"Huh? I thought he was your friend." Tien said to Goku.
"Yeah, He looked exactly like you," Yajirobe said as he randomly appeared out of nowhere.
"Hey Goku is he here the whole time?" Tien asked as he pointed at Yajirobe.
"Yeah?" Goku replied.
"Then why didn't he help out in the first place?" Tien asked Goku.
The battle between good and evil has now finally concluded with the death of the demon king Piccolo. Well, that was what everyone thought at that time.
