Time passed by and more than 2 years have passed.
after the deal with grandpa Jack many villagers directly accept the deal after knowing it was Lin Tian's offer and start working for him diligently, after the resource is secured from the village they finally start making soap and perfume products in batches.
The soap and perfume basically sold at a sky high price compared to it's cost and because of the previous sample he ask Mei Ling to share his product is already become well know, making it one of the most wanted items by the rich and noble ladies in Notting town.
on the other side Lin Tian has basically learn every knowledge and theory he could from Master, with his strong memories and spiritual boost from his gourd increasing his understanding, 2 years of studying is long enough for him to learn everything.
Lin Tian spartan way of training has also paid off nicely, his body is now 155cm which is really good for a 9 years old boy while his Spirit power has already reach level 20 one month ago and just need another spirit ring to advance. but what Lin Tian has developed the most in these 2 years is his spiritual power, now his spiritual power can scan 30 meters around him without any help from his gourd, previously his scanning range was only 5 meter with the help of the gourd buff.
other than increasing his strength Lin Tian also developed various skills using spirit and spiritual power, some of the most useful one he created is concealment and spirit cover he created using spiritual power. he has tested his concealment skills against a 3 ringed teacher and the 4 ringed headmaster which ended up with them being unable to sense Lin Tian at all until he touch them or reveal himself, but Lin Tian are unable to try it on a spirit king because there's simply no one on that level in Notting college.
the main reason Lin Tian making a hiding skills is to hide his spirit ring in preparation of his purple second ring, which ended up in the creation of these two skills. The spirit cover is also a good skills making him have not showing any spirit power fluctuation at all when using spirit skills but he is still unable to hide or change the spirit ring colour.
on swordmanship Lin Tian has reach a state of 'man and sword as one' which is the step he reach after surpassing 'using sword as one's own body'. Lin Tian didn't really know the name for this state of a swordman but he just make it based on his own feeling when using his sword. in this state he can basically cut rocks and thick woods easily using his sword as for iron he can feel some resistence but still ended cutting it without making any chip on his own iron sword.
Right now Lin Tian is relaxing while drinking herb tea in his house, but this is not an ordinary tea. this tea is a result of his experiment using alchemy recipe after learning everthing he could about herbs from Master's book collection and Tang San. just this single pot of tea costing him almost ten thousand gold coin only for the material, of course it also has extraordinary effect which is increasing spiritual power permanently which is also increased in effect when he make the tea using his gourd liquid.
every morning Lin Tian will drink this tea relaxing his mind before he start his daily activity, thinking back the reason he was able to created this tea is because of the recipe he got from Tang San. one year ago he was searching for anything that could possibly increase his Spiritual and spirit power in Master's collection book since his body already surpass both of his spirit and spiritual power, but in the end he found out that the only herb recipe he could found is only herb bath to reduce fatigue and increase body toughness (which he also collected in the end since it is usefull).
just as he was going to give up and return to his house he remember Tang San, his previous world is a martial arts world which definitely has alchemist that can create pill and elixirs, there might be some chance that Tang San has some these alchemy recipe after all Tang sect is also a master of using poison which also mean they have lot of knowledge about plant and herbs.
finally Lin Tian go directly to Tang San and asked if he know about herbs and elixirs recipe and whether could teach him about it.
At this request Tang San become a bit dumbfounded and asked, "Brother Tian why do you think i would know anything about herbs and elixirs ?"
"it's your usage of poison in the hidden weapons, as a poison user it's impossible for you to know nothing about it. Posion making and medicine making is closely related which why you should have some knowledge about plants and herbs and the rest is just a bet whether you really have it or not."
Hearing this Tang San nodded and didn't think anything wrong with it since previously he already show Lin Tian and Xiao Wu his hidden weapon which he ended up explaining a bit about it, he also told them that to be effective the hidden weapon need to be applied with poison.
in the end after some discussion Tang San will sell his knowledge about plants, herbs and elixirs recipe in exchange for Lin Tian finding some rare metal which he need for his hidden weapon, Lin Tian directly agree to it after all with his money now buying some rare metals is very easy.
Finally Lin Tian had to spend several hundred thousand gold coins to get all the required rare metal, and he get the knowledge of many rare plants and also how to make elixirs which definitely worth more than some rare metal. he directly start to practice making elixirs from the easiest one wasting hundred thousands of gold coin to buy herbs in his alchemy training, but in the end it paid off nicely since now Lin Tian can even create his own elixirs recipe.
out of all the recipes he get Lin Tian can could now make the medium grade elixirs which is effective for spirit master of spirit emperor grade, as for technique with his spiritual power he can be considered as high class Alchemist.
Elixir recipe from Tang San can be seperated to 4 level low, medium, high and Peak. while Lin Tian seperated them to 9 grade depending on their effectiveness to spirit master grade.
The tea Lin Tian drinking can be considered as a grade 4 elixirs since material for increasing spiritual power is quiet rare and making it is much harder than a normal grade 4 elixirs.
Finishing his tea Lin Tian was about to go out and start his daily training but suddenly he senses some people coming to his house, one of them he know is Master while the other one is a man with glasses some beard and also black hair reaching his shoulder.
Lin Tian directly recognize him he is Flender Master's best friend and the one who suffer the most from their triangle relationship, after all the guy didn't even married till the end in the original story because of him worrying both of his friends love life (well mostly worrying about erlong). If possible I will help him to get amatch up with someone, although he has quiet a problem in character especially about money he is still a good and loyal guy worthy to befriend.
while thinking this Lin Tian directly open the door making Flender surprised while Master look calm he is already used to his disciple opening the door before he even knock it.
"Master please come in." Lin Tian said while welcoming both of them.
after sitting Lin Tian served them a high quality tea, Flender was once again surprised with this he know quiet a lot about expensive items because of his stingy personality and he know this tea can cost hundred gold just for one pot.
"Xiao Tian let me introduce you to my friend Flender he is the person i called to help you get your second spirit ring."
hearing this Lin Tian was a bit surprised because he didn't think Master was going to ask help from him for getting his spirit ring, but thinking about it he is going for a thousand years spirit ring and Master will definitely unable to help him with this. Also there a matter of keeping things a secret since he is going to get thousand years spirit ring for his second ring, Flender is his best friend and will definitely keep this a secret.
