บท 1: First One-shot

Perry the Platypus was lounging in his pet bed when his watch beeped. Major Monogram's face flashed on his secret watch and he knew Agent P was needed. With a swift and practiced motion, he slipped into his secret lair, hidden behind the family's living room's bookshelf, and slid down the chute to OWCA Headquarters.

He landed gracefully in front of a large screen, where Major Monogram's serious face appeared.

"Agent P," Major Monogram said with a sense of urgency, adjusting his monocle as he spoke. "We've got a situation on our hands. Dr. Doofenshmirtz is at it again. He's constructed another one of his Inators. The energy readings are off the charts this time. We need you to stop him before he uses it to take over the entire Tri-State Area or blow it this time. We're counting on you."

Carl the Intern chimed in from the background, "Yeah, apparently Major Monogram thinks if he used his mind to work honestly than evil, he can finally not have to ask money from his ex-wife."

Major Monogram sighed, "And you know what, Perry? I almost feel bad for the guy. I mean, the poor fellow's been trying to take over the Tri-State Area for years, and he still needs to get money from his ex-wife."

Carl added, "Maybe if he put half as much effort into managing his finances as he does into building those -Inators, he wouldn't need to take over anything."

Perry rolled his eyes and let out a soft "grrrrr," his signature sound of determination mixed with mild exasperation.

"Anyway," Major Monogram continued, adjusting his monocle with a mix of authority and exasperation, "we need you to stop him before he uses this new Inator to blow anything up. We can't let him become the most dangerous—and probably still the most financially and emotionally unstable—villain in the Tri-State Area."

Carl popped his head into view, adding with a playful grin, "Plus, we are trying to find out if we can stop Charlene from funding Doofenshmirtz!"

Perry gave a sharp salute, his eyes steely with focus, and jetted off on his mission, ready to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz once again.

 Agent P!

🎵 Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated! 🎶

Perry the Platypus's first stop was Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. Using his platypus agility, he expertly sneaked in through a side vent, staying undetected as he navigated the labyrinthine air ducts.

Inside the building, Dr. Doofenshmirtz was immersed in one of his classic monologues, completely unaware of the impending confrontation. "Ahh, Perry the Platypus! You have no idea what you're up against this time," he exclaimed, adjusting a peculiar device with a menacing gleam. "With my Infinity Gauntlet-inator and powered with these infinity stones, I'll double the resources and finally become the mayor, hero, and savior of the Tri-State Area! Roger will have no choice but to step down."

At that moment, Perry the Platypus stealthily entered the room, determined to thwart Doofenshmirtz's latest scheme. He crouched low, using his agility to navigate through the cluttered lab. His mission was clear: find the self-destruct button on the Infinity Gauntlet-inator and press it before the villain could activate it.

Just as Perry was about to reach the gauntlet, a hidden panel in the floor slid open with a hiss, revealing a series of mechanical arms and a large, ominous trap. Dr. Doofenshmirtz's voice suddenly rang out, triumphant and mocking. "Ah, I see you've decided to drop in, Perry. How predictable."

Perry's eyes widened in surprise as the trap sprung into action. The mechanical arms shot out, aiming to ensnare him with precision. Perry dodged swiftly, but the arms were relentless, closing in from all directions.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz watched with a smug grin as Perry was caught in a net of energy beams that flickered and pulsed with a red light. "Gotcha! How do you like my new Platypus trap-inator, platypus perry? It is a masterpiece of engineering, designed specifically for you. It's equipped with energy dampeners, so you can't escape or use any of your fancy gadgets."

Perry struggled within the confines of the net, trying to wriggle free, but the energy beams tightened with each movement. Dr. Doofenshmirtz approached, his glee unabated. "Now that you're nicely contained, I can finally focus on my monologue without any small animal interruptions. The Infinity Gauntlet-inator is almost ready, and soon the entire Tri-state area will beg to be under my control!"

Perry's eyes remained sharp, his resolve unbroken despite the trap. He shifted slightly, analyzing the mechanism for any weaknesses.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz cackled maniacally as he adjusted the settings on his latest invention, the Infinity Gauntlet-inator. The device hummed with foreboding energy, and the six powerful stones glowed ominously.

"While you're trapped there, Perry, why don't you reflect on the futility of your resistance?" Dr. Doofenshmirtz taunted, pacing dramatically. "Soon, everyone will recognize my brilliance and beg me to be their leader. You'll see. And as for your precious Tri-State Area? It'll be mine, all mine!"

Perry's eyes narrowed with determination as he continued to struggle, plotting his next move to escape the trap and stop Doofenshmirtz before it was too late. He leaped in midair, casting a skeptical glance at the gauntlet. "Grrrrr?"

Dr. Doofenshmirtz's eyes gleamed with unhinged excitement. "With the Infinity Gauntlet-inator, I'll have the power to reshape reality itself! I plan to create infinite resources for everyone, but first, I need to... well, let's just say I'm going to make sure the world knows who's in charge!"

Perry narrowed his eyes, confused by Doofenshmirtz's logic. "Grrrrr?"

Dr. Doofenshmirtz paused, sensing Perry's skepticism. "Oh, come on, Perry! Don't look at me like that. I've thought this through—sort of. Just wait until they see me as the genius behind the ultimate resource boom!"

"Kill half of all people? What kind of crazy person would do that?" Dr. Doofenshmirtz interjected, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz's grin widened as he adjusted his glasses and sighed dramatically. "Oh, Perry, you misunderstand. It's not about killing people. It's about balance and making sure everyone gets exactly what they deserve... even if they don't realize it."

He paused for effect, his tone turning reflective. "You see, Perry, when I was growing up, my mother had this... peculiar habit. She made Dunkleberry pies, which were my favorite, but she always gave the majority of the pie to Roger. I was left with only one slice if I was lucky! I never understood why she did that. It felt so unfair."

Dr. Doofenshmirtz paused, his expression turning more serious. "It wasn't just about the pies; it was about my feelings! I was always taught that I had to make do with less, always left with the scraps. That's why, when I finally gained the power to change things, I decided that if I couldn't have it all, no one else should either. With the Infinity Gauntlet-inator, I'll have the power to create more resources for everyone, but only on my terms. I'll be the one to decide what's 'enough.'"

Perry shook his head, clearly frustrated by Doofenshmirtz's warped logic. "Grrrrr."

Doofenshmirtz chuckled, waving off Perry's skepticism. "Oh, Perry, you'll see. Once the Tri-State Area is thriving under my guidance, they'll thank me. Or at least, they'll stop calling me a 'crazy scientist.'"

Perry rolled his eyes, determined to find a way out and put an end to Doofenshmirtz's scheme before it could begin.

"No need to feel bad about this, Perry the Platypus. This isn't evil, you know. It's quite the opposite!" Dr. Doofenshmirtz said with a smug grin, his hands dramatically spread out in front of the Infinity Gauntlet-Inator. "Even Albert Einstein was offered the position of President once he made his groundbreaking discoveries! It's the same principle here. If my device can produce infinite resources and reshape reality, then I can legally become the mayor of the Tri-State Area."

Dr. Doofenshmirtz's eyes gleamed with manic enthusiasm as he continued to adjust the controls on the Infinity Gauntlet-inator. "First, I'll conquer the Tri-State Area, and once that's in the bag, I'll set my sights on the entire world!" he declared, his voice rising with excitement. "Everyone will bow down and proclaim, 'All Hail Heinz Doofenshmirtz!' It'll be a new era of prosperity and recognition, all under my brilliant leadership."

He paused to catch his breath, his gaze turning contemplative. "And think about it, Perry. With my power, not only will I reshape the world, but I'll also elevate my family. Can you imagine how thrilled Vanessa will be? She'll be the princess of the entire world! No more being just a high school student; she'll be a global figure, adored and respected everywhere."

Dr. Doofenshmirtz's tone softened as he spoke about his daughter. "I've always wanted the best for her, you know. She's always been overlooked because I've been so busy with my endless schemes. I haven't been able to spend as much time with her as I wanted. But with the Infinity Gauntlet-inator, she'll have a royal title and unparalleled prestige. It's the perfect way to repay her for all the times I was absent as her father."

Perry, unimpressed, rolled his eyes with a mixture of frustration and disbelief. "Grrrr."

Dr. Doofenshmirtz chuckled, unfazed by Perry's reaction. "Oh, come on, Perry. Don't tell me you're not even a little bit happy for her! It's going to be fantastic. Just think of it: Vanessa, the princess of the world, and me, the greatest ruler ever known. We'll be unstoppable!"

He turned back to the device, his face alight with the vision of his grand future. "And you, Perry, will have to watch from the sidelines as our new world order unfolds. Isn't it wonderful?"

Perry's expression remained resolute, his determination unwavering. "Grrrr."

Dr. Doofenshmirtz shook his head with a smirk. "Well, enjoy your little grrrrs while you can. They won't stop the inevitable. Soon enough, the world will see just how right I was. And Vanessa will thank me for making her a princess. I will be the best dad ever. Apparently, according to the internet, all girls want to be princesses and all boys want to be the strongest in the world."

Perry seized the moment, expertly removing the Infinity Gauntlet-Inator from Doofenshmirtz's arm. The Inator sputtered and powered down, its once-menacing hum now reduced to a faint whine. The stones, which had been glowing ominously, flickered erratically.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz watched in panic as the gauntlet's energy levels fluctuated. "No! This can't be happening! Why isn't it working? The inator should be able to control and use the immense power!"

As the Infinity Gauntlet-Inator continued to crumble, the stones' energy began to destabilize. One by one, the stones started to dim, their vibrant colors fading rapidly. Perry noticed that the stones were now emitting a strange, shimmering light.

Suddenly, with a brilliant flash, the stones began to pull away from the gauntlet. Dr. Doofenshmirtz's eyes widened in shock as the stones floated into the air. "What's going on? No, no, no!"

Perry observed as the stones, now glowing with an intense, swirling light, began to vibrate and shift. The energy around them became increasingly unstable, and the stones were being enveloped by a swirling vortex of interdimensional energy.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz attempted to grab one of the stones, but it slipped through his fingers, drawn inexorably toward the vortex. "Stop it! Get them back! They're supposed to work here!"

With a final, blinding flash, the stones were pulled into the vortex, which collapsed in on itself. The Infinity gauntlet-inator, now devoid of its crucial components, emitted a few last sputters before turning into dust.

Perry watched as the vortex faded, leaving nothing but a faint ripple in the air where the stones had been. The once-glowing stones had disappeared completely, returning to their home universe where they belonged.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz slumped to the ground, staring at the now inert device. "The stones… They're gone… They've vanished into their parent universe. All my plans… ruined…"

Perry gave a satisfied "Grrrr" as he observed Dr. Doofenshmirtz's dejection. The Infinity Gauntlet...Inator lay powerless, its threat neutralized. Perry swiftly secured the remnants of the device and the now-empty stone slots, ensuring that nothing could be used to replicate the threat.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz, still on the floor, mumbled bitterly, "I'll never live this down. My greatest dream... thwarted by a platypus. Curse you, Perry the Platypus!"

With the day saved and the Infinity Gauntlet...Inator rendered useless, Perry prepared to head back to his normal life. He gave one last, decisive "Grrrr" before exiting, leaving Dr. Doofenshmirtz to his frustrated and defeated plotting.

 ------

In the Avengers Tower, the core team had assembled. The room was filled with a tense silence as the gravity of the situation sank in. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Black Widow listened intently as Doctor Strange explained the bizarre events that had just transpired.

"So, you're telling me," Tony Stark said, his voice laced with disbelief, "that one pharmacist in a white coat and a giant tin robot came to our universe from outside of the said universe, took the Infinity Stones—which, by the way, are crucial to the balance of the cosmos—and now they're back without us even knowing what happened?"

Doctor Strange nodded, his expression grim. "Yes, Tony. The dimensional barriers were breached by a peculiar duo. They used advanced technology, some sort of 'Inator,' to extract the stones temporarily."

Thor frowned, gripping his hammer tightly. "And who were these intruders? Surely, they must possess immense courage to even think of such a feat."

Doctor Strange waved his hand, conjuring an image of Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Norm. "This is the pharmacist, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and his minion, Norm the Robot. They come from a dimension parallel to ours, yet entirely different in its laws of physics and logic."

Bruce Banner, the Hulk, leaned forward, his brow furrowed. "Wait, so this guy—this Dr. Doofenshmirtz—actually managed to get his hands on the stones? And we didn't notice? Where did he get the information about the location of the stone? Even each of us doesn't know the exact locations of more than 2 infinity stones?"

Doctor Strange sighed. "He did, but the stones were not compatible with their dimension's energy matrix. They began to destabilize, and that's when Perry the Platypus intervened. The stones were returned to our universe before any irreversible damage could occur."

Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, shook her head incredulously. "And we didn't even know this was happening? The fate of the universe was hanging by a thread, and we were completely oblivious?"

Captain America stood, his face set in a determined expression. "We need to understand the extent of this breach and ensure it never happens again. The safety of the Infinity Stones is paramount."

Tony Stark activated a holographic display, showing the location of the stones. "We'll need to enhance our security measures. Double the surveillance, and maybe even consider moving the stones to a more secure location."

Thor nodded in agreement. "I shall seek guidance from Asgard. All nine realms must be warned of this new threat."

Doctor Strange looked around the room, his expression serious. "We must remain vigilant. The barriers between dimensions are more fragile than we thought. If someone like Dr. Doofenshmirtz can breach them, others might follow."

The Avengers shared a moment of silent resolution. They knew the stakes had never been higher.

Just then, a portal whooshed open, and the Ancient One stepped through with a serene expression. "I couldn't help but overhear your rather tedious conversation," she said with a forced smile. Her face was pale, her usually calm demeanor shaken. She began, her voice low and urgent, "You have to understand, this is your first encounter with beings from what we call 'fun' or 'gag' universes."

The room fell silent as the team absorbed her words, their attention sharpened by the unsettling realization that she was standing before them, alive, when she was supposed to be dead. The Ancient One continued, "Beings from these universes are bizarre and incredibly dangerous. As long as they consider something fun, they can do anything. Imagine beings who can create their own universe on a whim, crack open the Earth, and then repair it later as if it were a toy or challenge and defeat the incarnations of ancient gods in eating contests, only to eat the gods afterward."

Thor's grip tightened on his hammer, his eyes wide with a mix of awe and fear. "Even the mightiest beings fear them?" he asked, almost whispering.

The Ancient One nodded gravely. "Yes, even the strongest beings. Their power knows no bounds as long as they find it entertaining. They can rewrite reality, defy the laws of physics, and bend time and space to their will. These entities are so formidable that they are considered taboo. We do not mention their names to anyone else, and we certainly do not record their names in any files. The knowledge of their existence is too perilous."

Captain America, ever the pragmatist, asked, "So, what do we do? How do we protect ourselves from something like that?"

"The balance between worlds is delicate. These 'fun' universes are realms where the normal rules do not apply. It is best to avoid interaction with their denizens whenever possible."

Doctor Strange, still visibly shaken, turned to the Ancient One. "But... you're dead. How are you here?"

The Ancient One smiled enigmatically. "What is death, Stephen? Merely a transition, a change in state. I am beyond such limitations. I exist in many forms across many planes of existence."

Tony Stark interjected, skepticism in his voice. "So, are you saying we should just ignore these beings? Pretend they don't exist?"

The Ancient One shook her head. "No, Stark. Acknowledge their existence but do not engage with them. Their motivations are incomprehensible to us, and their power is beyond anything we can measure. Our best defense is caution and respect."

Bruce Banner, ever the scientist, asked, "But if they're so powerful, why don't they just take over everything?"

"Because," the Ancient One replied, "they are bound by their own rules. They seek amusement and entertainment. As long as we do not interfere with their games, they will not interfere with our reality."

Thor, still gripping his hammer tightly, asked, "And if they do interfere?"

The Ancient One's expression turned serious. "Then we must be prepared to protect our realm, but with the understanding that direct confrontation may not always be the answer. Sometimes, discretion and avoidance are the wisest strategies."

With a nod of understanding, the Avengers resolved to keep this knowledge close, understanding the peril it represented. As the Ancient One prepared to leave, she turned to Doctor Strange. "Remember, Stephen, the multiverse is vast and full of wonders and terrors alike. Our role is to protect our reality, even if it means acknowledging forces we cannot control."

The portal closed behind her, leaving the Avengers in a contemplative silence. They knew their world had just become a lot more complicated, and the threat from 'fun' universes was one they hoped never to face.
