William Griffith strode over the broken glass and hugged her tightly from behind, his arms encircling her body. She was so obedient and well-behaved, not voicing a single complaint or showing any sign of anger. He lowered his head, resting his chin on her shoulder, and whispered with his eyes closed, "He's out of danger now."
"I know," Cherish Turner replied softly, "Miss Wood and Yannis both told me."
William fell silent, and Cherish gently stroked his arm, whispering, "William, I'm glad your grandfather is okay."
William frowned, suddenly letting go of her and gripping her small hand, "Let's go to the hospital!"
To the hospital?"
"To visit the patient."
Suddenly, William took Cherish to the hospital.
After they arrived at the hospital, Cherish bought some fresh fruits at a nearby fruit store and had the owner put them in a fruit basket. Knowing they were visiting a patient, she didn't forget to buy a bouquet of carnations as well.
