"Let me drive you." Daniel Peacock spoke after a long pause, pulling her to the car parked behind him.

The car sped past the hotel, but another figure rushed out after them.

Yannis Griffith anxiously looked around, holding his phone and trying to make calls, but none of them connected.

The car stopped in front of Spring Garden, and Cherish Turner took off her suit jacket and thanked Daniel before getting out of the car. Daniel also got out, grabbing his coat as he did. He blocked her, putting the suit jacket back on her, and tersely said, "You don't have to return it to me! Do whatever you want with it!"

"That's not what I meant." Cherish said softly.
