"Uncle Griffith, Young Master Griffith will be here soon. Don't worry." Sophie Wood caught a glimpse of him checking his watch and reassured him.

Although William Griffith had never been fond of attending such banquets and events, he would never be absent on important occasions. Therefore, Sophie had full confidence in him. She glanced around the banquet hall and finally spotted Yannis Griffith, who was standing in another area and chatting with a few beautiful women.

Sophie walked over to him, "Hey."

As soon as Yannis Griffith turned his head and saw Sophie smiling at him, he immediately excused himself from the conversation with the ladies, "Excuse me."

Without any hesitation, Yannis Griffith left the beautiful women behind and walked with Sophie to a quieter area.

"Alone? Not bringing a female companion?" Sophie curiously asked, initially assuming that one of the several beautiful women was his companion.
